Possble new build? Chainsaw?

I was looking at some of the new runewords and I saw this:

Last Wish
Jah Mal Jah Sur Jah Ber
6 socket swords / hammers / axes
6% Chance To Cast Level 11 Fade When Struck
10% Chance To Cast Level 18 Life Tap On Striking
20% Chance To Cast Level 20 Charged Bolt On Attack
Level 17 Might Aura When Equipped
+330-375% Enhanced Damage (varies)
Ignore Target's Defense
60-70% Chance of Crushing Blow (varies)
Prevent Monster Heal
Hit Blinds Target
0.5 (per level)% Chance of Getting Magic Items (Based on Character Level)

and I thought

Gee, that looks interesting for a build that goes for maximized crushing blow, and then afterwards, remembered an old school build that did

max blade shield
blade fury
venom

And used a lot of crushing blow gear to rip through hell like a blender. and then I thought, would a 1.10 variant be doable?

SKILLS:

20 blade shield
20 blade fury
18 dtalon ( after skills )
20 venom
and rest into bos / shadow master / death sentry / fade( at your option )


EQUIPMENT:

Last wish phase blade OR Zerker.
stormshield with sheal / eld / um OR doulbe upgraded lance gaurd for 50%
open.
Weapon Switch : choices are CTA, 2 venom claws, or a static switch for taking groups down fast, aka, crecent moon zerker / stormlash / sheaffers.

shako with um / sheal OR ber cham crown of ages
maras
upped gore riders
verdungos
chains of honor archon ( I want resists and skills, fortitude might be an option if you go with fade BUT you should get a free level 11 fade from getting hit)
Crafted 20 ias / 2 martial arts / life leech / crushing blow gloves OR draculs
10 shadow gcs /
Annihilus


Kicking, blade fury, and blade shield all work with crushing blow, and last wish gives up to !!! 70% !!! . It also gives might aura, which should add to kick damage, life tap on striking. with this much crushing blow, any monster that attacks you is going to get a face full of crushing blow, a godly-ish amount of crushing blow, and up to 75% open wounds as well.


Tactics: Use blade fury to your advantage in areas with lots of iron maiden casting people, and lets face it, they are going to drop like flies because of your MASSIVE crushing blow

use kicks against big brutes / bosses to ensure a quick and painless death

blade shield up all the time will help you prevent being massed up against, because if monsters run up to attack you, they are gonna get their faces sliced to ribbons!



What do you guys think of the Chainsaw?
Is there a cooler name for this kind of build IF it is possible?
Anyone wanna give me 3 jahs, ber, and sur for a little testing?

Crushing Blow no longer works with Blade Shield. Other than that, it sounds like a good idea.

The old Blender build is the name I still like. :thumbsup:

But thet its not point.. if would be no dupes things like these would never be made.. trust me I playd on no dupe cheats hack server(blizz is not only d2 serv) and I offer this last sezon for Jah

nobody traded with me..
I'm thinking if blizz iz no dupe serv price for high lvl rune would be.......

The blender was officially deactivated with 1.1. It was rendered completely useless thnx to CB not working anymore , and BS pulses not IAS based anymore , just once per second.

Not really. In 1.09 Bshield was affected by IAS. This made Bshield hit more often. Now it's set at 1 sec per attack. Before you could get 8 or 9 fpa , which meant around 3 attacks per second.

So no , I would say even with CB , it would still be a lost cause. It would work , but only to a really low extent.

It wouldn't be a lost cause at all. That weapon is still a great kicker/fury weapon. Blade shield would just be extra dmg on top of that.

Agree, would be very sexy for PvM kicker. Only problem that i would find is that when the fade cast and overwrites my BoS I would get kind of irritated, depending on how often it casts. It wouldn't work as well for a hybrid though as if you were going to go bfury then you would really wanna make this puppy in an ethereal weap for some serious bfury damage.
