View Full Version : Pubbie RANTER[Beware of Boring NKING Story]

Is it just me or do about 95% of all the ppl in pubbies TG and NK and spam how much you suck with their MH?
Recently, I was in a good dueling game with several MATURE duelers. Then a level 60ish paladin goes HOSTILE on me[level 89 WW barb]. I told him that it wasnt a good idea, BUT he ran out to attack me anyways doing literally no dmg whatsoever. So I unhostile him and told him to do the same. BUT he just comes out to attack me. Finally, my patience gave way and I killed him. Then he starts yelling at me that IM picking on low level guys... He leaves and brgs a 80ish Bowzon with Faith[Fanatacism aura, I dont do MH] and hostiles me. Stays idle for a while, so I go duel others. When a well built bonemancer[one of the mature duelers] kills me, I naturally go to get my body. Then bam something hits me and I die. I said to the zon, "No nking plz." Which she replies with, "O sry didnt know." I went to get my body again. And she kills me again with, "HAHA NOOB BARB ME KILL YOU WIT 1 ARROW GOT PWNT." So I rejoined the game and hostiled the zon, who in turn repeating "HAHA NOOB BARB ME KILL YOU WIT 1 ARROW GOT PWNT," and trying to NK me. She just kept townguarding and spamming rude comments. Then she finally leaves when she couldnt dent my armor.
LATER THAT GAME.................
3 Bowzons come and team uo to terrorize others. They all stand aroud their tps[which are a screen away from town]. With decoys and Valkeries out, they spam Guided Arrows and Slow Missles on the casters. They even had 3 different act 2 mercs to help them prey on others[Blessed Aim/Pride[Concentration Aura], Might, and Holy Freeze]. I was really pissed so I team with the necro to take them out. BUT as I walk out all of the zons run back to town via tps. This process repeated over and over. Even though I managed to kill one or two through their slipups, they still stuck together in their cowardly ways. There was no more point in trying to duel them or other well mannered duelists. Eventually I left.
SOOOOO after that long and boring story what do you think? Are there any honorable Bowzons, Hammerdins, Fohers, etc. out there? Or is dueling in pubbies just a waste of time? I wouldnt enjoy the strict rules in ClanHonor, so are private games the only places where I can duel with manners? Or should I join the NKing, MHin, *BLEEP*ing duelers?

If you where on non-ladder I'd say I'd join ya in dueling, but you're ladder and I'm non...

That's just how pubbies are, man.
If you're East Ladder or even Nonladder I'll duel you. I'm not a jerk, but I do run a lot, lol. If you want to hit me up for a GM duel, my accnt is the same as my Forum Name.

Nah you shouldn't sink to their level. But everyone duels like those zons in hardcore. They either exit out of the game with chicken hack or have like a script that tps to town when they're in danger. It's even worse in hardcore lol.

I just came across the PvP forum to see whats up (I do never browse this forum, dont ask me why) and I see in the first page 3 threads ranting about public dueling rooms. Does all people here started to duel yesterday...? No offensive, but hey, you better make an Official Public Ranting Thread at the sticky ;P
Yeah public duel games suck indeed, lotta sad people over there though, if you take it kinda personal, you better stop playing, and Im talking serious now because you´ll have a really bad time.
@Baranor: I prefer the old polar bear on your avatar, that one doesnt suits you at all :lol: , see, you have just scared this newcomer guy with that sort of...(wth is it?) on your avvy ;P

So, I am not sure how to say this. WHAT THE HELL DO PEOPLE HAVE TO ACT THAT WAY. Comeon. That is not called sacrasim, that is called just being rude. Has the game really sunk to that level that something so small as that first post people have to reply that way?
I think it may be time to clean the forums out again.
EDIT: Not done yet. Why do people think they need to act like that? Why do they feel they need to act like that? I can almost understand on Bnet because that is how most people are acting. But here people are not like that, as often. You do not realize when you say stupid things like that you make yourself look very unmature and stupid. People here will never respect you. But here we have/I have a powerthat I do not have on bnet, I can ban you.
EDIT: And when you have been banned 3 times already I would think you would get the hint. Have to add that one to the IP list.

I think a lot of newbs put too much confidence in the new runeword bows only to find out that they are not automatic gods. Most bowzons have basic gear except for their ebay bow and few have any knockback. With limited skill and crap tactics, they then resort to NKing, TG and potting since that is the only way they can get kills. To be sure, there are some tough and honorable bowzons out there and there will always be people with bad manners. I think the number of cheap zons will drop as punks get bored with thier bowzons. I have a unique way of venting when I get sick of the cheap zons. I make a game "Bowzons Suck" and kill all zons who enter with my WW Sin. So far, I am undefeated. Sometimes, I think vengence is highly underrated.

I dont think bowazons are cheap. I have made on myself, after far more than 3 years playing Diablo, this is my first pvp bowazon, belive it or not. I made it now coze is not an overpowered char anymore, easy to kill by many chars. I hope you get this in the right way, no offensive, but if you think bowazons are cheap and they troll around due this reason, could be they are not the ones without skill ;P . In the past I play mostly paladins (I mean 1.08 and 1.09 patches), I dont play em anymore because are indeed cheap and overpowered no matter which build you make (foher, hammerdin, charger, smiter...). Necros has their good time on publics too, although since they are kinda hard to drive (read more than 4 hotkeys) the inmature childs dont use em too much. Not to mention sorcs, wind druids...and any javazon can take down a bow ama without anything else than holding the mouse click. Call me masoquist (spelling?), but I´ve always enojyed the challenge, thats the reason Im playing bowazon now; that´s why my favourite chars are firedruid, kicker assasin and bowzon now. What chars are you favourites?
And battlenet suxx, it does sucks now, sucked 2 years ago and will suck in the further future. Dont ask why, just try to be aware how the real world is going, went, and will go. This is just a reflection of real life, this is just human behavior, for the good and the bad.
But hey! I´m happy today coze I managed to drink few beers with friends, and thats good, very good indeed. I WILL POWNZ YOU NOOW! :stoned: :drink:

Ferro, ya missed my point. Too many beers with friends? :P I was not talking about all bowzons, just the majority that were created to take advange of the new runeword bows by peeps that did no research and put little thought into their character. I agree it is fun sometimes to duel a character against a bad matchup. (ie...barb vs hammerdin). It helps you become a better dueler and provides a good chance to gloat when you do win. And as far as my skill level, the only way I know of to find that out for sure is via a duel.
Well for those who want to duel with a friend by your side, whisper me me when I'm on. I sometimes fight 4 people at once even if they keep nking me as long as I take 2 to 3 of them with me. My account is the same as my forum name. Feel free to add me to f list too. Baranor, I agree with that comment about your avatar, the polar bear was cool.
