Not really sure what forum to put this in, I figured statistics would be the place to get an answer though.

Can anybody tell me what level req an upped Riphook bow would have?

OK thanks, I was just thinking about making an ultra bm MLD zon for when the need arises...Guess I'll use a regular Riphook.

Clvl 52 required for an upped Riphook.

Use the following calculator.

Actually, both that site & ATMA are incorrect on this item, though generally they are correct most of the time.

The upped Riphook actually has a clvl requirement of 54.

That's a big call Drac0 mate.
I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't be 52. Blade Bow is 45. Upgrade is +7. Why do you think otherwise?

I can. Something was put in the socket with a Clvl requirement of 47, problably an Um Rune.

AFAIK, the calculation is as follows: Add 7 to the current level req, not considering any socketing, then compare it with the level req of the elite base item and, if applicable, with the current level req of what's socketed into it. Whichever is highest, that's the new req.

When upgrading normal items to exceptional, add 5 instead of 7.

It doesn't work like that. The mods +to Clvl requirement adds to the highest value found on a item, be it the base item, the unique Clvl requirement, or something from the socket(s).
