What am I doing wrong?

Hello,

I'm a bit of a newbee in PvP but playing D2 for a long time now on the realms.
I know that playing PvP is different from the regular playing on the realms en much more different than playing single player but.......i don't make a change in playing PvP!!!

I,m saying this because i'v tried many times to survive the first hits from my opponent but i'm death in a second!

Because of the fact that i'm playing D2 now for many years i can where the best equiptment.
For example:......I'v tried to make a PvP barb......the most important skills are maxed out(WW on 33;Berserk on 33;SM on 27 and so on)
Armor:Enigma
Helm:Arreat's with 40ED/15MD jewel
Breath of D. CS (one hand 8,5k damage)
Stormshield with 40ED/15MD jewel
Mara's;Venom Grip;War Traveler;String ed;ed
Anni in stash;skillers.

So i think the Equipment is good enough.

Yesterday i'v tried to knock down a brb LvL87 while my brb is LvL88 and he whas just standing there and let me hit him and i couldn't damage him at all and with TWO hits he killed me!

So......What am I doing wrong?

Maybe a crack with more exp. than me can give me some good advice??

mmmm what are your rings? it sounds like either your ar is too low or your life is too low. If you don't have bo and shout maxed you wont stand a chance against the other barb duelers.

I'd say dump the berserk and invest in bo and shout for higher life and defense.

also use the angelic combo to up your ar.

Use mostly two dual leach rings with high AR or sometimes Bull K/Raven Frost when needed.

Fotgot to mention that BO is maxed en Shout is with +sk on 17 now.

Have only put in 30 pnt in Vit. because of the high live leach from items.

Maybe the low Vit. is wrong in this build.

Leech got seriously nerfed in PvP in 1.10, I'm assuming you read from a 1.09 guide. I suggest going over to the Barb forum and looking at an Up-to-Date WW guide. It should help out a lot more.

Few tips about barb vs barb:

-Get highest defense u can. Any pvp barb will have the cry enhancing its defense maxed. Have you done this?

-Whats your atack rating? You must use angelics ammy+ring for pvp, get +20k attack rating

-I guess ur blocking is 75%

-What about Battle orders? maxing it is a must too, u should have 4k life minimum.
