Does HOTO add +1 to blizzard?

I am thinking about making hoto now that I have finally traded for the runes, but I am using it for a sorc primarily and want to know if in addition to the +3 to skills it adds +1 to blizzard. For those of you who downloaded runewizard off of diabloii.net, it says it there. Anybody?

your blizzard will get the +3 all skills, but hoto does not come with +1 blizzard.

it does come with charges of oak sage though :D

I always wondered... how does one make those spirits from charges (Whisp Projector, Nature's Peace, HotO) survive?? They seem to have around 2.5 hitpoints and not much of an instinct of survival... Oak sage in general is useful, of course, but... ehh...

Heart of the Oak can be made in 4OS maces or staves, so the +1 to Blizzard (Sorceress Only) you saw was probably from that, nothing else. The runeword, itself, doesn't give that property.

Really high BO cry? But I wouldnt bother with it cus it dies so easy in hell anyway...

The OS will work best for someone like a summoner who has lots of meat shields to protect it. Of course this is exactly the character who doesn't really need the health boost; its greatest purpose in this case would be to help your merc survive. Anyone else is likely to see the sage go pop between 1 and 5 seconds after they spawn him, but IIRC his charges aren't all that expensive anyway.

He might be worth using in cases like meph running; if you are using a merc to tank meph, you can summon your OS once you are in position, and the boost in health could make the difference between having to resurrect your 50,000 gold merc next game.

A good way to help the survivability of your OS is to use the raven charges along with it; these guys will blind the monsters they attack, and blind monsters are less likely to kill your OS.
