Is it worth it? Fhr vs life

I just created my first lightning sorc. Her gear is as follows:

Griffons
HoTo
CoH
Spirit
Bloodfist
Arachnids
Treks
3 Lite 78 Life
SOJ
SOJ

With this setup, I have 120 FCR (117 bp for lightning) and 105 FHR. The trouble is whether i should aim for the next fhr bp of 142. I could just drop Bloodfist and get a better pair of gloves (dunno which) for the next lower bp. Otherwise i could get 37 FHR from 3x light fhr and 1x 5 fhr sc. Is it worth it? 3x lite fhr and 1x 5 fhr replaces 3x lite 30ish life gcs and a 20 life sc, which is generally around 110 life.

Summary: Is it worth it to sacrifice around 110 life to achieve the next (142) fhr bp?

well i cant give any pvp advice...dont know much about that...but if its pvm faster hit recovery is not very important at all.

Depends on if you get hit a lot - and if you have max block or not.

If you frequently do lots of teleporting like Baal, Mephi that sort of stuff then I would definately get to that breakpoint.

IF you duel lots of melee characters, then get to that breakpoint.

If its just standard MF, dont get hit much, then u dont need to reach the BP.

If you have max block, then u dont need as much reliance on the BP either. as only 1/4 melee hits will get in.

If you have gone the max life route - then u will definatley require it.

All depends on your build , and what it is used for.

well, this will definitely be for pvp =) otherwise i would have made this sorc with cheaper gear heh
Since im using spirit, i have only minimum points in strength and no max block
So i guess the common consensus is to get the extra fhr bp.. Any other ideas?

Definately.

I would make it up with small charms though.

I mean, u dont need to have any inventory slots anyway, I wouldnt sacrifice any of your gear options.

In PvP its important to tweak every single option as much as possible.

7 Frames will be enough for pvp for a sorc, you shouldn't be getting hit a lot anyways since you have a cheap and super fast teleport. Go ahead and get that life. It will save you more often than the 6 frame fhr animation.

If you do Meph, then YES!!!!!!!!! Right now I would KILL (Meph, or players?) for some good FHR, usually Stun kills me more than low life/1-hit-KO.

out of curiosity: how much total life are we talking? is that 110 life out of 2000 or 110 out of 500?

well im not so sure about the sum total of my life really.. i havnt completed my sorc. Also i wanted to add something. The 110 life is after i BO and since i have a 6 bo cta with + skills, the life might be around 200 or so
