Gambling to get GF and arachnid mesh

Somehow revisited the information regarding gambling. We all know that we have to gamble on the normal items in order to have a chance to get its elite counterparts. But be reminded of the following bugs as quoted from the dii.net:

"All normal belts have elite boots as their ultracode.

Sash - Wrymhide Boots
Heavy Belt - Mirrored Boots
Belt - Boneweave Boots
Plated Belt - Myrmidon Greaves

And these are the weapons with odd ultracodes:

I recalled that such information was there for quite a while well before 1.10 patch. Does bug still exists for 1.10 patch?

The typos weren't fixed, it's still impossible to get elite belts, Colossus Sword or Ogre Axe when gambling.

BTW, GF is a colossus blade, not a colossus sword. Anyway, the chances for gambling GF is incredibly small - you will probably have to spend billions of gold.

really? I was under the impression that they had been fixed. I peaked at armour and weapons.txt and to me it looked like everything lined up properly.

I got a Maras with 30 res gambling amulets for an extremely long time ;) Ive also got SoJ so its definetely possible but will takes weeks and weeks of gambling and ure prolly better off gambling circlets/amulets and selling em then gambling for arachnids/swords..

So this means that you were looking at the wrong version, then? And the typos have been fixed? Or are you not sure?

Well I am looking at the right version and the typos are fixed.

That said, the chance of a level 90 char gambling a Colossus Blade is around 1/60, and the chance of it being unique is 1/2000, so you're looking at 120K tries per GF anyway. Which is a lot. Well over 20 times the number of Pindle runs it takes to get one to drop, usually. And those are free.

I gambled a Rising Sun like 4 months ago. I was really suprised that you could still gamble uniques.

I've got 2 Nagels off gambling and haven't gotten any other uniques. To get good uniques it would take too much time and money to be worth it. Might as well go kill things for it and get experience too.
