View Full Version : How is this build affected by 1.10?

Ok, after reading some (and feeling overwhelmed by the changes since I last played a year ago), I don't think I'll be using my old favorite builds. So, if I go with TS/DT, is there any new bugs, NextDelay stuff, item oddities (like how does TS work with +% damage now) or anything else I should be aware of?
I've always done c/s before, but since I'm on the track of trying a new style anyway, I've heard that c/c has the chance of building two chargeups with one strike, but when I've tested that, I only got one chargeup. Is the info I've heard wrong, or is it simply that I missed with the other claw, even though my chance to hit was above 80% and it kept happening every time?
ETA -------------
BTW, this is pvm. And if my shadow casts a skill with NextDelay, will that affect everyone?

TS/DTail itself was improved with 1.10, due to Boot Damage, but conventional TS/DTail hybrids have been heavily nerfed, and while it's still possible to make one, it's going to be very tight skillpoint-wise, and you'll have next to no points in Shadow Disciples.
Pure TS/DTail PS'ers are just as viable as they were in 1.09, maybe a bit moreso. You can only charge one orb of TS/CS/PS per click, regardless of whether you're C/C or C/S, so I think your info is suspect.
Yes, your Shadow casting a NextDelay skill at a monster will prevent anyone else from damaging it using another NextDelay skill for a time.

Yeah, I tested more and never ever got two orbs with two claws. I'll stick to my wussy c/s. I was kicking myself when I first heard that for never going c/c, now I'm all "Yeah. I knew what I was doing."
Glad I caught this before I put anything into Shadow Master, I'm just about to hit lvl 30 and I don't want to deal with a drop of NextDelay.

There aren't that many Assassin NextDelay skills. Shock Web, WoF, Blade Sentinal, the first two charges of CoT and Phoenix, and that's it. The worst ones are Shock Web and Sentinal, but the SM rarely uses the first, and never uses the latter that I've seen.
You can only get two charge-ups per dual-attack with the claw charge-ups--FoF, CoT, and BoI.

You're forgetting Dtalon. :D

Hmm, well Talon isn't a NextDelay skill. And the last time I checked it was still a finisher, not a chargeup. Maybe I'm not seeing the joke...

Dtalon also suffers from the next delay. Well if you have a 3 fpa Dtalon.
