View Full Version : Basic Marrowalk question
Sorry for cluttering the board with such a basic question, but hopefully someone can help me out: Marrowalks take 118 str to wear, and the item has a +10-20 (I believe) str bonus. My question is does my necro need to have 118 str before the bonus, or including the bonus? In other words, if I found +20 marrows, could my necro equip them with 98 base strength?

You 118 just to equip them.So you would that much strength before hand.I had the same problem. :

As Garcia said, you'd need 118 beforehand, however, if you found 20s, you'd have 138 str, which would make a spirit monarch that much easier to use if you decide to go that route.
You can use other items, like charms, to pre-buff your strength, then remove them once you have your boots equipped. This is a pain, however, as you will need to do this at the beginning of each game if your setup isn't just right. You will also have trouble recovering items from your corpse using this method.

Another problem with this idea... if you should cheat by taking away strength items after putting on your Marrowalks... you're character may very well 'pop' and when you die you char will lose all of his equipment on the ground and other players can and will take it. Don't cheat with your strength or dexterity. The best way to add strength is with ammies, rings and charms, cuz it takes no strength to wear those items.
