Lets say, hypothetically, that my cyclone armor had 1 dmg absors left (*lol*) adn a Fohdin struck me with a 5k dmg thunderbolt, would I still take dmg or would the CA just disappear?

Yes, it'll pierce through the armor and you'll take whatever damage that did not get absorbed by the Cyclone.

Its ridiculous how powerful cyclone armour is against FoH :( I tried my 5k FoH on my own wind druid and he didnt even scratch him on the first few hits.

heh my wind druid owns foher's i just cast hurricane and runn around them casting cyclone armor after every hit of foh, and my hurrican slowly but surely kills ppl, kinda cheap, but theres no rule in pvp that says you cant recast your protective skills. ;)

i have a question about cyclone armour that is related to the first posted (hope u don't mind)
when is the resistance and absorb taken into consideration ?
before the damage aplies or after ?
e.g. if i have cyclone armor absorbing 1 k and and 50 light rez
and get struk by 1 k points of light damage the armor will absorb 1k of damage or 500 ?
thx

Cyclone armor has 0 reist and 0 absorb whatever item you wearing.
