charm ilvl in aspect of affix and suffix lvl

could anyone explain how do you figure out ilvl the charm has to be to have a chance of getting desired affix+suffix, lets say for example fine sc of vita! do you add the alvl+slvl or just take the higher of those two............. :confused:

I think you mean prefix rather than affix there. Prefixes go before, suffixes come after. Affixes = prefixes and suffixes. But no matter...

It is just the highest that counts. For your Fine SC of Vita, the alvl required for Vita is much higher than needed for Fine, so you only have to worry about the Vita level.

what thrugg said ......but i think you are asking how to find correct minimum ilvl.
well its the highest ilvl = alvl+qlvl/2
qlvl for sc is 28, alvl for vita is 47.. so 47+14=61. (lc has qlvl 14 (add7) and gc qlvl1 (add 0))

true about affix thing i was at work and things get a bit hectick there :o

There is a good tool for that in the d/loads section LODencyclopedia. Alot of the info in it is outdated but the prefix/suffix calculator under the items menu works fine.
