What's the best MF gear for my Blzz sorc?

Tals set is nice.

otherwise components :

Armor :Skullders with PTopaz
Helm : Shako + PTopaz
Shoes : War travs
charms : lots of small 7% charms, Gheeds charm.
Goldwarp belt
Chanceguards Gloves

Weapon : Whatever u use now socketed with a Ist or a 10% magic jewel with other useful mods.

Shield : Probably need Mosers with 2x Pdiamond since your ressys will be low with a full MF setup.

Runeword wealth is useful, if u have an alibaba u could put 2x Ist in there and do a weapon switch for the killing blow.

Lots of nice options =)

If you're going total mf the whole tal set is not really necessary (or helpful). The armor + amulet + belt is a good combo.

You could do a "rhyme" runeword shield too, pretty cheap. (Sheal + eth). You get 25 mf and 25 res all.

For rings: Perfect nagels aren't too hard to come by (30% if there's any confusion here). Else some res all mf rare rings. But those ARE hard to come by ;).

i think the somewhat affordable mf setup would be

Shako
Tal's Armor
Tal's Ammy
Oculus
Stormshield / Lidless / Splendor
Tal's Belt
Magefist / Chance Guard
War Travelers
Nagelrings / SoJ's

that should get you to about the 300+ range, where diminishing returns does not bite you in the rear.

I use the following...

Shako
Hoto
Enigma Breastplate
Mara's
Stormshield
Magefist
Arachnid Mesh
War Travelers
Nagelrings / SoJ's

I went for performance and life over mf, mostly because i have 2/3 of my inventory full of 7% magic find small charms, and a gheed's fortune. I did not get max block because I would end up with little over 500 life. I went all vita and got max damage reduction % to absorb some damage. I have about 400+ MF percentage.

So, in my opinion, the best MF gear would be having alot of magic find charms, and then opting out gear that you only use for the MF, while still obtaining a decent MF percentage.

I think this would be the best set-up:

Shako
Tal's Armor
Tal's Ammy
Tal's belt
Splendor/Rhyme Shield
Occulus/Gull
2x Sojs (I prefer these over nagel if you're gonna run hell).
War Travs

My gear of choice... lots of mf, works fast as well.

I think its perfect for a newbie sorc though.

Excellent resistanes, excellent plus to all skills, defence versus missles, belt offers damge reduction to mana, orb gives some fast cast etc etc etc...

There are better single items for dedicated MF sorcs, but they tend to all lack resistances and plus skills.

The perfect MF Gear is a combination of items that will grant you anything between 300-xxx MF and will still let you kill fast and effcient and will also keep you alive. To me MFing is still all about speed. I would rather just have 300-500 MF and do my runs very fast, than be loaded with 800 MF and be real slow.

MF does paly a role in item dropping, but it is really really small.
The items and sets mentioned above sound pretty useful to me.

I use the whole tal's set on my mf sorc , and I'm no newbie at all. :D I just find it nice to have max fire / cold / lightning resist. That way I can also boost people with the same sorc. Aswell run pits / counsil / shenk / meph / baal / etc. She's a meteorb btw. So the -15% fire resist and 15% cold skill dmg coming from the orb are really really welcome. :D They help alot.

Also , tal's set boosts your life and mana quite alot. That was the third reason for me to use tal's set.

A good balance between MF and Killing speed for me:

Helm: PTopaz Shako
Armour: Tal Armour
Weapon: Occy
Shield: StormShield/Lidless
Belt: Goldwrap
Glove: Chanceguard
Boot: War Trav
Ring: Soj/Nagel
Ammy: Mara

Retro, if you have a stormsheild on the switch; why not get a spirit instead of lidless? Also you would be better off with tal's ammy and belt rather than mara's and goldwrap... at least that's what I was told (seems to be working for me now) :D
Edited: I forgot to close the bracket

My sorc:

Shako 'UM' (50% mf)
Tal armour (ptopaz 112% mf)
Tal belt (15% mf)
Tal ammy (+65% mf off 3 set bits)
War travellers (48% mf)
Occulus 'Ist' (80% mf)
Sanctuary Trolls nest (trolls nest cause for Wt's I only needed sommit like 3 str)
Nagrel (30% mf)
Carrion wind (because Tal doesnt have 40% psn resist)
Gheeds and 7% mf charms on me

I kind have lots of + skills / 75 res all in hell / and a decent amout of fcr.

I think its a decent balanced setup :P
