I want to make a kick sin. But I don't know which guide to follow, I don't knw what ninja and all that are. I was in a baal game, and this assasin came in and started kicking baal, and his life was dropping as fast as, or faster as my level 90 hammerdin, who does 12k, does.. I've never made a good assasin, my current one is fun, but she can't kill beyond hell blood moor very well. I made my trap assasin wrong, so I need to remake her.

Which guide do I need? I don't want to whirlwind, I don't think I'd be able to afford that claw. Anyone nkow where my needed guide is? Thanks in advance.

For pvm Id say follow c-beats guide! Its trapper/kicksin, very fun to play and powerful too ;)
The kicksin you played with had crushing blow mode --> chance to reduce life by x on striking.
CB + dtalon = dead baal in no time.

I had a similar experience.

My strafer was busily pecking away at baal, and his life was going down sooo slowly (my chance to hit could be higher) meanwhile this assassin holding a flail and wearing what was probably guillomes face is just standing by and watching me. After a minute or so she walks up and within seconds baal is down to a sliver. It was pretty inspiring.

Anyway I had been wanting to make a new sin so I went with dtalon and death sentry. She's pretty good, but I still have a very poor chance to hit baal - about 64% at level 85 so I can't match what that other assasin did - even though I have 50% chance for crushing blow (with orphan set and upped goreriders) and 250+ str.

I'm wondering if an Eth rune in the claw would help, but I can't remember if that works on bosses (I know ITD doesn't) or if it transfers to kicks - I think it does though... I still don't have a ravenfrost which I think helps out with baal quite a bit, as I tend to get slowed quite a bit.

It's a good build, with a lot of options since your main attack is a level 1 skill with no synergies. Good luck with it.

Ravenfrost helps a lot.... even 15 Dex already is 60 AR, on top of the 200 or so AR you should be able to get at least...

Tie that in with the multiplier on Talon, and it'll boost your AR by a lot.

Other options could just a be simple rare w/ 100+ AR and decent Res.

Iirc, the Eth -would- work on Baal, but only when actually attacking with the claw itself. (So it's no use for your kicker). Failing everything else, when using a 3 sock Natalya's, you could always toss in 3 PDiamonds for an additional 300 AR.

The Flail that assassin was holding probably was a Black Flail/Knout -> it gives 40% Crushing Blow on its own.
