ALL my chars expired over night!!!!!!!

heuu can some1 explain what has happened with all my chars? I just came online to find ALL my chars to be expired in 4 days, with half of my chars already expired, while i've played yesterday for the last time!!! even when log on, the expiration notice doesn't dissapear.

Some1 PLEASE tell me all chars will be resetted?????????

even weirder: when i log on with another pc and go to my accounts, everything is ok. What is this?

Check the time settings of your computer.

Just wondering how old you system is. There are small coin size batteries that hold the time and other important information your OS needs to start and run. If this Systems is older that fiver years or so this could be your problem. resetting the time might work, if it is the battery then in time this will happen again until it fails totally.

I had a fevor of 39.5 yesterday, but my system didn't wanna boot, so i flashed the bios that morning. When i resetted all the functions in the bios, i had set the date like: 05/02/2005. While, in my fevor, i didn't notice the day it gives because it's american time setting which is like: 02/05/2005 wich is a difference of 3 months. And if you don't play for 3 months, your chars are expired. But i never knew Bnet checks the internal clock.

No, the amount days that is left for expiry is only an indication for when your characters might expire (because it's based off your local clock). The date for when the characters actually expire is based off bnet's clock. So you can change your local clock to take back the time to make it so that characters are no longer expired, but when you try to log in, bnet will still tell you that they aren't accessible, because they haven't been played for 3 months.

Yeah, I had the same problem. I previously posted this, and all the mod could say was "You played with it 2 hours" after I posted I did not, even bit by bit. Some helpful member did say to check the system clock to the correct time. I was off by a year. ><
