Some kick/mageslayer pvp question

Just wondering if u can answer these would be thankfull :)
Ps. its a dual claw assa build (mostly for killing caster i want this char)

1. Do i have to put some dex so my block chance will be 50-60%, My weapon block is 55% atm

2. Is this a good setup for a kick/mageslayer assa dual claw
cta and spirit on switch
bartuc "eth" (-25% defense)
jade talon
lionhart
andy mask (guillamce face maybe? cant affort coh)

ravenfrost
shadow dancer

dual leech amu with 10 fcr

3. Does "Crushing blow","deadly strike" works on pvp? if it is what does it do?

crushing blow isnt very effective for pvp, deadly strike doesnt work with kicks
crushing blow reduces their health by about 1/8 or 1/10 each time i think
deadly strike doubles your damage
dexterity doesnt affect weapon block

FYI
Crushing blow is 1/10 and physically resistable. It's nice in pvp, especially vs high life opponents. Consider 10% of your opponents life if he/she has 7000 life. 700 dmg after pvp penalty in one hit, not bad, eh?

I have a lot of success with my 90% cb mageslayer.

Except for that chi987 is correct.

Also, eth runes gives only half their value in pvp, so you get -12,5 enemy def with it, still its nice...

Trang gloves are better than draculs, but you may want to socket your bartuc with um, for the ow.

As for helm, I'd use shako.

Belt? Tg or a nice crafted one is what i'd use.

Anyways, search the forum for info about mageslayer setups, there are alot of information here.

Thats fine, my kicker has even more, it depends on what claws you are equiping, if ur wanting to go pvp, i would switch out the bartucs for a malice, or if you are rich fury. Then in the offhand claw put on a Jade Talon for resist.

CB are bad in pvp i've heard right?
CB isn't worth it in PvP, I would go with the malice, and the jade talon but its up to you, If you go with malice, I would just use lionheart because you would hav 100% open wounds, Andariel is better then guillame face for PvP but if you could get a shako, and if ur rich enough a coa. Stick with verdungo IMO its the best mele belt, angelic is nice if ur dueling hi defence players but since ur going to be killing mages I don't think you would need it? So i would stick with second option. Your gloves should be trang, you have max OW so no need for dracs... and life tap is BM... But that would change some if you could get ur hands on a fury claw...

Well, as stated, this is a mageslayer build, so how would verdungo be better than tg or a nice crafted?

From tg you get:
40 stats (20 str, 20 vita)
+max light res
light absorb

Those stats are sure nice for slaying mages and trappers, lightsorcs in particular.

From Verdungo:
30-40 stats (all vita)
10-15 %dr
10 fhr
some replenish

Yeah, the vita is nice and fhr replenish, but dr? You really need dr vs casters? Yeah, vs windys but mostly vs melee and this is a mageslayer build. So imho, tg is better than verdungo.

I'd go with shako without question for a reason. Andy face looks so ugly.

Besides that, lets compare:

Andy:
+2 all
25-30 str
20 ias
Psn res and max psn res
-fire res

Shako:
+2 all
6 stats (or 8)
120 life (@lvl 80, 1.5/lvl)
120 mana (yes, same here)

Urf. Now I see you have cta, that makes comparison a little more complicated. That gives the two helms gives about the same amount of life (if i remember right, to tired to calc myself), assuming you put the 25-30 stats you save with the strength from andy in vita. I'd still go with shako though, I like to have high mana since i want to mb alot.
