Armor for Orb/Es?

Making an Orb/Es sorc and need your advice.
Gear:
Nightwing (cold facet)
Fathom (cold facet)
Spirit (35fcr)
Arach
2x Sojs
Frosties
Treks/Silkweave
Crafted Ammy (+2cold, 20fcr, 61mana, %mana regen)
As for armor, I'm alittle confused what to wear. Either Glads Bane, ViperMagi, or CoH. I read a guide where it said Glads Bane for the dmg reduced by X and magic reduced by X is important, but in games I heard that Vipermagi or CoH are better. Can I get an expert opinion? And if Glads Bane is the armor to wear, how much dmg and magic dmg reduced by X is enough?

If I counted it right you only have 95 fcr. You need another 10 fcr to reach 8 frames so aim for that (ie switch frosties for mage/trangs). And personally Id use coh.

If you are maxing ES and TK and will prebuff ES to level 40 then you will want all your stat points except for the required strength into mana. That means that you want the glads bane and you want to put a sol rune in it. Since your main attack spell is orb FCR is almost useless. 65% FCR is enough to get a decent teleport speed. Keep the frosties. You want as much Damage reduced by X as you can get. You want mana charms in your inventory if a few of them also have life that just gives you a bigger buffer to work with.

For PVP orb/es does the damage reduce really do a whole lot.

Example:

mana with 6 bo 3400
Life with 6 bo 1400

armor: is only item where I get 13% MDR.

Now I could use an ammy of everlasting and resocket my armor with a sol, and resocket my helm with a sol and lets say get 25 Dr from ammy (nice one too with +2 sorc skills) lol wish it was a +3 cold.

Would this really make a big diff in the life lost in PVP (forget PVM) or am I better keeping cold facets in my items?
