Hello,

I'm looking for some way to damage opponents who play hit'n run against my WW druid. Clever ones don't get minions, which means no charge up, which means little point chasing around, even with big bad boots.

Anyway - I was considering using either one of these lvl 1 summons. Both are unkillable by a player, and both can chase them much better than I can.

However, I have no clue whether it might actually do damage if I pour points into them. Lots of people seem to think it's a waste and would destroy my template, but I've yet to get the advice of someone who actually used it or saw it used.

My current (pretty cookie-cutter) template is:

10 Werewolf
15 Lycanthropy
15 Oak Sage
16 Fury
1 Feral Rage
1 Grizzly
And prereq.

I intend to max Lycanthropy, Oak and Fury. I'm still undecided about WW. Anyway, this gives me room for about 20 more easy points in my build. So... any advice ?

And nope, I'm not into Rabies or Flaming Druid ;)

Thanks for your help !

hey

well

for dmg, none of those 2 will help... ravens just inflict too little dmg (though they can stun/make an opponent block/dodge)

poison creeper CAN be kinda effective in pvm if high lvled but not in pvp sadly

an idea could be to get charms with faster run/walk on them

I have absolutely no clue about ravens since I didn't want to mess up my build by trying (yup, I'm a coward all right :D), but it did look pretty good on paper...

5 raven x 31 hits x 23 damage = 3565 damage for a measly 30 mana. Even with PvP resistances, that's still ok I guess.

Besides, they could disturb the opponent, eventually blocklock him if Max Block, and whittle his life away if no shield...

Well, that's all theory of course.

23 dmg.... Plus the PvP penalty, I would say i can regenerate faster than that.

Not bad, you should max rabies and get the Carrion Wind Unique Ring, which gives you a lvl 21 Poison Creeper. Poison Creeper will stack with your current Rabies Damage as well as infecting your enemies with potent poison at the same time even if you aren't able to get a single hit in. As a very nice bonus, players cannot target your vine, so right there you have an invulderable good source of poison damage that automatically hits as well. And raven is pretty weak, its best used from a HOTO flail and only to block lock the enemy.
