20 ice bolt
20 ice blast
20 g spike
20 blizz
20 cold mast
1 tele
1 shiver armor
1 warmth
1 in all preq for these skills
where should i put the last 3 skills pts ill get?
all frozen orb for the synergy to ice bolt,blast etc
static maybe?
i am mainly pvp but i mf with her too
SF never hurts. More points in your armor will help more in PvP. I can't think of anything else that would help you.
Ahh your going to lvl 96? Well since you play PvP I would go with pts in tele... blizz sorc's scoot around alot and you want your mana going towards your attacks, not your movement.
Put 1 point in Static, it is very helpful for Boss killing. 1-2 points extra in Tele won't get you much of a mana change so I would suggest going into your armour spell.

putting pts in shiver armor seems like a waste to me.
i was thinking of putting rest of my points( 4 if i get to 99) in frozen orb to synergize ice bolt and ice blast g spike and not sure if i want to spare a point for static field or not lol kind of a barebone biuld haha

I guess it depends on your plus skills.
If you dont have many - then I would agree with Sartok - go teleport - since this is mainly PvP u need your mana for attacking.
If you have lots of plus skills , Im talking like at least +10 then perhaps go static field - to help with boss killing.
If you find that you need some extra armor in PvP then Cold armor is good as well, your cold mastery is an indirect synergy to this.
3 points doesnt really leave you with many options - dont go orb, it will be a waste of time with only 3 points.
i dont like the teleport idea or armor i got plenty defense and mana but if i put a few in orb it would synergize with ice blast, g spike, ice bolt etc, but this is also a mfer (lol i know) i will be doing countress too, i mean my merc will. so im not sure if i should get static or not...
i really appreciate all these responses tho

Go static then, its a winner :)
good cheap way to get hell bosses down to half life.
plus, its also useful if u do some PvM and you can static the cold immune monsters. This helps your merc to tank and means he can just 1 hit kill most things.
Orb - Even with a 20 Orb, 20 cold mastery, orb still is only mediocre in hell, its excellent as a crowd control skill though, as it slows everyone down.
So I can only assume a 6-10 point orb would still be weak even with the synergy. Remember max synergy only increases orbs damage by 50% which if you had a 20 point orb would be nice.
Also - since u use blizzard, no real point in having a 2nd cold skill.
And with lack of synergies no other skill will benefit you.
If you have some plus skills then static field should have at least a half screen range.

Sorry, I must of mis read the question.
even as a synergy.. I still wouldnt bother - 15% extra damage to glacial spike, or ice bolt still isnt going to do enough to make it exciting.

I was thinking more of the lines u have 4 points to spend, and u had say 10+ skills so it would of been more like a level 14 orb.
It sounds like you r just going to invest in orb anyway :) each to their own , there is nothing wrong with building a slightly different character!

Ah, I see what your problem is. You see, crb806, at your level your won't have enough skill points left to max Orb, so you really don't want to switch to that skill now that you have a perfectly good Blizzard skill. And Orb just isn't as powerful as Blizzard to begin with.

i am not new to the game(far from that in fact, if that is what you were implying). i just wanted to get confirmation that synergizing ice blast and g spike with orb was the best thing to do. instead of getting or putting some points in some other skill.

I say go for the synergies to ice blast/glacial spike. My ice blast on my pvm hc sorc does 2.3K, which is actually quite a bit to dish out while blizz is already flying. However, I would always have 1 point in static, atleast. It's an awesome skill for mfing. My cold sorc looks like this at level 92, sporting 4.6K blizzard with her setup.

Nope, no points in warmth, my 700 mana is fine with a row of mana pots incase my merc with an ethereal Insight Colossus Voulge, Crown of Ages, and Shaftstop finds a way to die. That high level meditation really does the trick. Honestly, I don't see any difference with a level 10 warmth.. I don't think it's worth it unless you really pump it up.

I suggest you get a point into thunderstorm. It will stun your opponent and put amazons into dodge. Its actually quite helpfull,granted the dmg is low but nobody uses ts as a main attacking skill.
