Consider I have optimal setup on ladder and that i have 30+ life ele gcs is it worth it to max block and use ss=+2 dru/20 fcr circ? or use a shako+spirit and max vit? With shako i will have +more to Bo, 120 more life and mana, as well as 10% dr. However i will lose max block. My friends say with constant wolves and sometimes a bear+sage, the massive life (i estimate to be 4500+ when finished) along with 5 free absorbed hits (5 wolves) will keep physcial attack from completely destroying me
also, if i choose to max vit, should i use hoto+mage+arach+(33%)spirit or hoto+bloodfist+(33%)spirit+arach+10% fcr ring (ring with +13 str or +35 mana/+8 energy?)
thx
i suggest block
no block is suicide against melee

well i dueled my friends 4500 life druid and he tanked most of my wws with just wolves and his spirit. He never stayed still so if i ever got a ww off of him it hit his wolves, which then he teled across the screen to recast. Some of my other friends say max life is the best thing to do... at first i disagreed but now i see the advantages.... i have always abided by max block for everything... even sorcs.
14k damage= get a shield

I would like to formally open up a challenge to all wind druids on US East NL to TRY killing my 2 handed fury wolf.
Especially the all vita ones. Please come and die.
Please?
No really, all arrogance and raging hormones aside - would any wind druids actually like to test their viability against a well prepared fury druid? I'm not the cream of the crop, but I have experience on my side.

? 14k dmg? since when do barbs deal 14k dmg (unless they are specifically 2 handed monsters) even if they did, they still would have to kill 6 summons before actually hitting me. They would have to get a full WW off of me, which i hope will not happen. if you were talking about a charge pally... its incredibly difficult to charge a druid who is surrounded by 6 minions, not to mention before he teles on top of u and spams tornados. I'd like a second opinion on this before i distribute my dex points.
edit: i play ladder and I havent come across a fury wolf yet with half decent gear (usually people who are just starting d2) they just dont populate ladder. many characters who do use fury or zeal are somewhat at a disadvatntage because i can lay somewhat ranged attacks and tele away while you have to actually hit me. i have never dueled a fury druid because i only play ladder so dont quote me on anything

tor was speaking of fury druids - and with a botd GPA, 14k damage isn't that hard to accomplish.

2 handed fury wolves rock. shifted druids dont block that hot. however, they do get sick range, sick speed and strong assed hits with a 2 handed weapon.
I am all for vita build personally. you just need a jalal's mane and a shael in it or lots of hit recovery items to make it snap out of the mold. FHR on a wolf is best in game if you push it. strange fact.
if you rely on minion stacking, i can go f/r and bite
run around in circles for 10 seconds and you'll be dead

ok to salo- did u read the thread? the blocking part was about wind druids, not wolves.
and to rabies i wouldnt rely on minion stacking vs fury druids, the minion stacking was more referred towards barbs, and i believe sage is immune to poison. I still dont understand how u catch a caster with a wolf, if u have 6k life would take approximately 12 tornadoes to kill u if u had 50% dr, not to factor in the hurricane.

if you have a sick level of runwalk and use the terrain, you can catch casters. most casters are really stupid and think they pwn. they will follow you and tp randomly in a bad spot a few times a second.

Oak sage is poison immune, but they still spread rabies. Catching a caster with rabies is pretty easy to do. Especially vs wind druids since their range is kind of low.
Relying on minion stacking vs a barb isn't very good either. The ones who minion stack and have max block are the hard ones. Vs a non-block wind druid, kill the summons and tele/ww while he resummons. Get caught in a dod without block and you're as good as dead.
