I just noticed in my RPG info screen there is this thing called "Referrals"
What are they and how do they work?
I dont remember seeing them there before is this a new feature?
Last time I checked one person claimed I referred him/her/it to this forum. That's all it does. Pointless feature really.
Well, according to the FAQ:
The administrator may have enabled referrals, which allows you to be credited for any new users you invite to the forum.
You gain referrals by promoting RPGForums.Net using your unique referral link. The link you should use as your referral link is this:
http://www.rpgforums.net/index.php?referrerid=102560
Each time someone follows this link to RPGForums.Net and registers as a new member, your referral count will be incremented by one. The number of referrals you have can be viewed in your profile.
Your administrator will have more information on any prizes or rewards that may be given out for referrals. Please be courteous when promoting RPGForums.Net by not spamming other web sites with your referral link just to gain referrals.
I've never really heard of anyone getting a prize or something (I don't even think I've heard of anyone referring  )
That really is weird, I never gave out such links to rpgforums, yet I do have a single referral.
