been a while since i was in :- ( and got back to playing... lvl76 kick assas playing hell yeah baby :-D
Stupid noob question as per always when magic finding does my assass shadow master also have my MF stats?
currently running at 420 with me an my trusty merc

nope your shadow dosent help with mf but your merc does.

A necro's minions do get his MF%, so I would assume that an Assassin Shadow Master does as well.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure she has your MF%, plus I hear that sometimes her equipment can spawn with additional MF, so in some cases she'll have slightly more than you.

All minions inherit magic find and gold find --- mercs, summonables, traps, ...

All things you summon including skeletons, shadow masters, valkyries, bears, etc will have the same mf% as your main character.

If you hire a mercenary and put mf gear on the merc, the merc's mf% will be added on to your mains character's mf% ONLY if the mercenary deals the killing blow on a monster/boss. So, for andy blast away until she's almost dead, then sit back and let the merc finish her off and you'll have the combined mf of your character and your mercenary for her drops.

Also, Necromancers can summon iron golems that you can equip gear on; they will also follow the mercenary mf rules. But it is either the golem or the merc who gets the kill- so you cannot get the mf% off of both merc and golem in addition to you character's mf%; only one or the other.

Yay thx guys you never let me down.....on a diff note i havent been coming in for a while now as the newcomer link at the top of the main page didint seem to work i guessed it was because the newcommer forum had crashed or was undergoing maint...it was pure chance i tried the newcommer link on the left hand side menu that i relised you guys were still alive!
