Need Goldfind Tips

Hey everyone.

First of all I will apologize in advance if this has already been asked, but I searched and didn't find.

Ok, well I just got my sorc 91 :) which means enough str to use 4 Ist Monarch without my Str Amulet. That lets me use my 48 Mf Ammy. Now I have 987 Mf, and only being 13 away I would like to hit 1000!

Now I think the best way to do this is by getting 2x 38+ Mf Rings. I know this will be very hard but I'm willing to try.

I heard best way to get these rings is gambleing.

So I have a few questions:

1) Who should I gamble at?

2) I need a lot of gold. I have been doing Trav runs with my 91 Sorc, she uses:

Ali Baba: 227% Extra Gold
Goldwrap: 65% Extra Gold
Chance Guards: Extra Gold
Gheed: 87% Extra Gold

I was wondering if there was any other Gold Find Gear I could be using. As of now I find approx 100,000 gold per run.

I think I could put 2 Lems (xx% more gold?) in my Ali

dwarfstar rings gives 100+ each and fire absorb which is neat for council. also infernostrides.....wealth armor....and gf-charms :D

I am now using the following:

Ali Baba (Lem,Lem) : 377% Gold Find
Wealth: 300% Gold Find
Chancies: 200% Gold Find
2x Dwarf Stars: 200% Gold Find
Infernostride: 66% Gold Find
Gheed: 87% Goldfind
Goldwrap: 65%

On avergae I now find between 250k-300k per Trav Run,

%MF affects gambling?

Goldfinding with some Gambling on the side (http://www.rpgforums.net/showthread.php?t=274818) that should help you. also you should lookup whats the lev req to gamble those rings. then use a char thats at that lev. that way you dont get too many high lev mods that you arent looking for.

i would make a barb so you can use more gold find items, flip dead monsters for items or gold and staying alive. with a barb u can run the travical to kill them council members. when you kill these guys thay drop loads of gold then you can flip them for even more. doing just council run you can make tons of gold. other options is to use a sorc like say es/orb for max lifespan, with merc she can run the council, with merc. killing the council will not only turn gold, but runes as well. then you can go to meph opening all the cests you see on you way to phem, just the one behind him pops a lot and for the rest of the council.

edit: it also works out dwarf stars absorb fire and reduce magic dmg, makeing the best gold run IMO, no problem

ehm i usually gold find @ the cows (also a rune place 2 be) loaaaads of gold drop there besides magic items which can be sold for 35k(do that 10x) hehehehehe money

you can goldfind on any map. running cows works great for some builds but other builds have a harder time doing them.

the barb makes such a good goldfind char because they have the FindItem skill and can hold 2 greed items. the FI skill will give you a chance for a 2nd full drop from a monster (high lev is +51%). the high council works so well because each one can drop 4-6 items each (or is it upto5) you can often get them to drop more then 1 pile of gold. with a good setup you can get +100k piles of gold to drop or even a mill gold per run.

i tryed gold finding cows in 09 with fury zon, its was ok but not as good as council. i have done gold finding in ladder works well that a zerker can hit enough dmg to wack them down fast, and imo high council are the fastest gold find run that truns most gold out and yes sometimes thay drop 2-3 really big heaps of gold. try it in full games and you can hit max gold every in about 3 or 4 runes cuz if you have enough gold find each member can turn over aoubt 100k like tempus said, i have seen more with my barb tough when you add the item find. hit about 2500%gf you can avg 500k each run ez more at times.

so if you wish to find gold make a barb with few points in IF and make sure you have good build so you dont die but with inferno+dwarf stars(both mf items btw with def vs fire) council is really ez

oh yeah use edge RW bow+gheeds(ladder only items) for a max of -30% venders

i happen to max the FI skill on my mf or goldfind barbs. with every monster having a better then 50% chance to make a full 2nd drop i'll almost always get more gold using that then i do from the first kill
