I haven't put much thought into this yet, but imagine this setup:

Dream Helmet
Dream Sheild
Crescent Moon Phase Blade
20ias Gloves (Crafted or Rare or LoH)
Highlords
Chains Of Honour
Gore Riders or War Travs
Raven Frost/BK Ring
Vamp Gaze (ED/ias Jewel)
Verdungo's

This would give you:
+30 Holy Shock Aura
145% Resist All
75% IAS (4fpa Zeal without Fanatacism)
60% Faster Hit Recovery
Decent Deadly Strike (Not really necessary for this build)

Skills:
1 Zeal
20 Resist Lightning
20 Salvation
20 Conviction
20 Holy Shield
10 Pre-requisites
Defiance - The Rest

Simply put:
Leave Conviction on to lower their Defence -95%, and their resists shot to hell (Thus AR not really being a huge issue).

Zeal till they die (I'm guessing in 1 Zeal unless they stacked their lightning resists (in which case you can switch to an Phoenix+Hand Of Justice Phase Blade to finish them off?).

If I managed to obtain all that Gear, would this be a viable Build?

Conviction doesn't lower defense as much as I think you think it does.

you can't use a "dream" helmet and a a vampire gaze at the same time

This is how conviction works in pvp defense-wise. Say they have a total of 600% enhanced defense from skills (Holy shield, defiance) Conviction will subtract 95 from 600 thus leaving them with 505% enhanced defense. Pretty worthless imo... as far as 1.10 patch goes. In 1.09 it was pretty effective vs zealots since they didnt have such large enhanced defense values back then. Not anymore.
Still i think this should be pretty effective if your opponent doesnt stack lightning resist. 1-2 hits should do the job, the tricky part is getting your AR to par.
Just had a thought- your aura pulse should be mighty strong as well when conviction locks on. +the large range of holy shock. This would make a fun pub build- no one would be able to approach you without stacking major res :).

i'd use a grief phase blade with the following skills/items:
20 zeal
20 resist lit
20 hs
20 conviction
rest blessed aim/defiance/sacrifice/salvation

grief phase blade(note you need at least 32% ias on this roll)
dream hat
dream paly shield(up to 65 res all :))
upped shaft(ber) or leviathan(ber)
hsarus boots
hsarus belt(these are mostly for ar bonus)
ravenfrost
ring for doing what you need(including other ravenfrost)
highlords wrath
nice 20% ias gloves

charms should be a mixture of resists and mostly ar/damage

this way they need to look out for both physical and elemental damage.
your min damage will be considerably better
stacking high resist items while keeping decent dr and defense/ar will be a pain

It's certainly possible to find a 3 sockets PB. They do not drop too often but It's sure possible since I have found a couple of them. The problem is that most people don't keep them. At Lazaruk, a phase blade will get 6 sockets not 5. Beside finding one the only way to get 3 sockets in a PB is by using the socketing forumula.
