Hey!

I'm trying to decide what merc to get and had a few questions:

Does thorns work on bonewalls? If not, does any other damage reflection work?

Is the holy freeze body shatter too annoying at high levels?

If not one of these, what would you use, defiance? I plan on having a few revives and weak minions around by end-game.

Thanks,

KS

1. i dont think any damage reflection works on bone walls or prisons, since they are not minions or party members.
2. definitely not. In hell, most of the monsters wont shatter when under HF unless you hit them with sufficient amounts of damage when they have litle life left.
3. i dont have a boner *giggles* but i'd imagine that HF is the most useful, although it depends how many minions your planning on having, since the more of them you have, the more useful might becomes.

Yes, it works - but any kills made by damage reflected off walls or prisons won't net you any experience.

Oh yea thats right, it does do damage, but make sure you get the final kill in, or its pointless.

Actually, my Patriarch bonemancer used his original Rogue merc throughout the game. She has the huge advantage of being able to still hit monsters even when they're buried 2 or 3 layers deep in Bone Prisons, and in fact I took out most Magic Immunes in Hell by Prisoning them, Amping them, then letting her fill them full of little holes.
