Anyone tryed this style of pk?

This is not about low lvl things , but I think what about idea well leveled and skillers tweaked lighting sorc , hostiling lots of midlevels and attack that pack of noobs with - **chainlighting!** Maaan , those effects should be cool ,expecialy if all of them die at once. Post what do you think about it?

killing 50 pvm's with a late 80's supersorc is lame imo :) and half of the time they would laugh at you when your chainlightning does no damage to them :p

A friend of mine made several 45 chainlighting sorcs to great succes. He killed quite a few people with them. If you catch a group within a pack of monsters or close together, the chain lighting will cause massive lighting damage and kill them. Its kinda like using a fury zon.... if you're in the middle of a group, you're dead.

10: Lightning Damage: 9-5874
1: Mana Cost: 51

note that at this point normal lightning does

or 542 PvP, and thats after 1/6th reduction and 75% LR.

you could use a crescent moon runeword sword which shreds enemy lighting resistance by 35%.... this wold mean you loose about 3000 on the lightning and 1000 on the chain lightning, but it would mean that you hit them for slightly more.

Yeah i know its lame but i can bet its damn fun.. Imagine mess and noobs crying and runing in all sides at panic, and 220Volts chases and roasts them all like barbecue

I'm still waiting for the day to come when they add that site to the word filter, I've seen a few guys use the complete site name and I wouldn't be surprised if the byrocracy strikes again :p This is going OT now but in all honesty (and I do hope no mod reads this or i might get a banana, again) this place is a tad bit like concentration camp on some areas :)

That 1/6 reduction you mean pvp penalty?

If i remember/know correctly its in elementals 1/4 :) so its then maybe a slight higher that damage, hopefully :)

The only time I've ever been successfully tppk'd was by a lvl45 CL sorc. It was my fault since I hadn't really equipped my sorc while doing normal baal runs. Or I could just blame all those bastards who chickened and forced me to take all the CL damage.

There is absolutely no way you'll ever hostile a pack of mid-level "noobs" with a "well leveled" sorceress, hunt them down, and find them still in a pack. The only way I see you successfully hunting any of them down is if one of them wants to be found so he can put a sword in your gullet. Unless of course, you're talking tppk, in which case you get even less respect from me than someone who refers to random people he's trying to kill as "noobs" when he's hunting with someone above their level.

There's a nexthitdelay on CL that does a decent job of preventing that isn't there?
