Well, tonight is the night. The remaining 4 chars (oxy, valar, chuck and I) are going to attempt to finish off our first installment of KTAeast. We are through anya so we just need neo, ancients and baal. I do believe we will probably do neo last like euros Kta does. I am hoping I can use my death sentery and chuck can ce like mad to take care of most of the corpses before neo can do it, heh.
ALso on a side note: rather than making a seperate thread, I will do it here. I believe we will have most people back from this group, but we do have at least 1 opening, so post on here if you are interested in joining us for KTAeast2 which will start a week from today. We play on monday and wednesday nights (although there has been some talk of playing on thursdays instead of wed) from 8pm est untill 10pm. We obviously play on east and we are an untwinked no hacks group that only plays with what we find in game. The chars are not permitted to play outside the group other than catching up quests (preferably with other group members) and eldritch/shenk mf runs are permitted also, but no leveling too far ahead. The group is tremendously fun and the group members are great. We have a few semi in stone builds, but pretty much it is whatever you want to make or feel would be useful.

Other build types that have been mentioned are fire druid, LF zon, sorc, etc. With these tanks, a sorc of some kind and a LF zon would be awsome. If I left anything out, please feel free to chip in guys....other than that, see everyone tonight :)

And thursday instead of wednesday works very well for me!

Anyways, we've got the sorc and zon so I think I'll go with a fire druid. Except I might make a change to the build and go with wolf instead of bear. I just find wolves so much cooler :) Don't worry, I'll still have oak.
I figure I'll go with the wolf for speed because I don't plan on finding 6 shaels and a 6 o/s phase blade, which would make the bear more ideal...

Mine is going to be Ktaeast_Garath inspired by "The Belgariad" :)
Also, we meet in the channel "KTA" (No quotation marks) at around 7:55 pm eastern time.

I used a LF/FA hybrid back in a previous installment of KTA. She worked fine. Just don't expect to kill anything with your FA, but it does freeze beautifully, adding some more safety. LF w/o Synergies kills just as well.
As to the 6 Shaels... I just did NM countess runs till I found enough of them. Then again - I just went 3 Shael Aldurs. I prefer Bear personally for two reasons : More life (:D) and Shockwave. (And to a lesser extend, Hunger.)
Wolf doesn't have a lot of backup imo either... Fury needs a decent damage weapon, and Rabies costs too many skill points. It does have much better AR so in that sense it could be better.
On a sidenote, Bear eventually is faster than a Wolf.

Yeh hi guys :) GREAT job on becoming guardians, owning baal XD Yes i would like to join KTA East with my ultra cleric (uhh... choice of party aura + salvation + holy bolt that does 10k dmg and heals 300-500 per bolt and foh that does ~2.5k dmg with holy bolt doing ~2k dmg per bolt, all undead = dead :)) Where do i meet up on monday?

Nope, character was a big success :)
Wound up doing 4k Firedamage or so. Of course, against fire immunes you just stand and tank it out and shockwave them, but that's okay. It's why you've got the rest of the team.
And the most amusing part is when you'll get your 6 Shael Phaseblade finally ! (I had one ready for after KTA). You'll be swinging faster than a Zealot :D
Just try to get CBF asap. You'll want it, as a blue bear is horribly slow.
