So I found a Lo. What now?

While helping a friend quest in hell a friendly beetle decides to drop me a Lo-rune. So what to do with it. Checked the new runewords and kinda decided that the only ones with Lo that I can afford would be Grief or fortitude. I'm leaning towards making a grief smiter. But everyone else is making fortitude. Is grief not good enough?

Since the new rune words came out all i want to drop is a Lo rune so i can make a grief smiter :)

id say make a smiter but ....it prob wont do much good since 99% of high lvl duelers use chicken

Yeah, after popping a chest behind Mephisto (the big one) and getting a Lo from it, I decided to buy me a CtA +6 bo.

Though, people might not want to use Lo anymore (because its main use was Fortitude in armor but the RW is somewhat bugged at Arreat Summit - http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/runewords.shtml) until it's fixed up.

I recently made Grief phase blade for my frenzier barb. Like always, I got almost minimum stats on it, but even then the sheer more power of Grief is astonishing. I spend all my runes to get the Lo but it was well worth it.

If you are a smart trader, You can use that Lo to Double your wealth over and over again.

Just keep making key trades and you will make huge profits.

Hold out until you find someone who REALLY needs it.

Sip you know me from trading and I'm not famous for making smart trades all the time :D . Furthermore I really don't need much anymore so I decided to make that grief and build me a smiter.

Edit: Mestre: made it in a Phase of that reason. Ended up with 40ias so kinda regretting I didn't make it in a zerker.

Is grief not good enough?Becuase of the 30-40%ias I would recommend that you made it on a weapon that needs only 30% ias. I would never put a Lo rune at risk.

Trading is an option, but you would then want something that's really worth it as a weapon, like maybe a Zod'ed eth DC. But who the hell would trade such a weapon but dupers? If you want to trade I'd wait for someone who really wants it, as Sip said.

You could also wait for better runes so you can upgrade it or make a higher runeword, like Doom or Beast. Odds are against you, but they already were before that Lo dropped. Who knows?

Kinda stupid to put it into a phase blade for a smiter. Worse damage, and especially range. 3 - 2 doesn't seem much, but actually it does vs. barbs - it's the space between win and loss.
