I've just recently been drawn in to the low level dueling scene, and tried to make two duelers out of it. One, which i deleted because i had not been rich in any means at the time, the second just got owned :).
Compliments to Baranor's LLD Guides, i checked out all of the great builds and was shcoked at the items you needed. The only true build that i thought was viable for me was the jabberzon. After seeing Ham's beast, i was determined to make one. After some days of searching and trading thanks to my brother, i had 5 - 20 pvp dmg.
First duel : Ahh, my first REAL duel. I knew my dmg was crappy, so when a level 14 charger entered the game, i was shivering...alot...lot..lots... Another friendly level 1 in the game encouraged me to just fight, as well as the charger. Although he sucked, just for the fact he had no ar for his smite do amplify me, his charge threw off half of my life. It felt good to chicken him 3 times.
Second duel : Another charger, level 18 this time. As i dueled him (hes accaully a legit) we found eachother equal. I chopped his life down like no tomorrow, he cant hit me, but when he does, my life DROPS. After some wins and losses, we become freinds and talk w/ eachother. From now till the next day, he is in almost all of my duels.
Whatever between: I dont know how many duels i was in at that point, but Kigli (18 charger) was in all of them. We were cool with eachother, and owned everybody in our paths. Although i could not kill, EVERY duel i have been in, people ran to town or fluxxed/chickened. Just nobody could touch me and my 6 pokes per second :D. He had no trouble KO'ing his opponents, for he had a pike with even greater damage then a Bonesnap. We worked as a team somtimes, making "team duel" games, me totally pummeling them and him KO'ing them. Must have been in at least 20 duels, no ears.. but a renewed confidence in pking/dueling that lets me step out of town.
My demise: Next morning, tired, i join a duel game. There was a lonesome level 18 guided arrow zon, name of Ear-Greedy. I had no fears of him, seeing that no arrows have hit me before without doing little damage and me hitting them. I walk out, and she runs fast. Very fast. I walk, because i dont want her arrows to hit. Works great for about 15 arrows, till one hit me

She was a chanted pk. I had not felt guilty at all, the only true loss was my charms, i got the rest of the equipment i needed back.
I was so in love of this build, that i made a new, better Parkitlikeithot
Still alive and well, doing 6-30 pvp dmg now, kicking arse! Ill post the exact stories after she dies, so yeh.. dueling is fun :p
