67,800 dmg Possible for Bear? How?

How is it possible? It would be overpowered!

It's not possible for bear, rabies is a werewolf skill. It sounds like lots of damage but it is over a long period of time and needs very specific gear to get the 105% increased poison damage. I think someone compared all the poison damage skills and I think it was poison javelin that did most damage, might remember wrong though.

The most high number damage skill in the game is the Necromancers Psn Explosion, which by my calculations awhile ago, with the right gear:

Deaths Web
Bramble
Trangs Gloves
Homun
Mara's
Sojs
Arachnids

8~10x Psn n Bone charms + Anny

throw in a few facets and you can top off around 100K+ Damage.

You're right, but the Assassin skill Venom has far and away the best poison rate in the game.

Fully synergized leel 20 Poison Explosion does
8190-9870 over 9.6 seconds. That is 853-1028 per second, for an average of 940 per second.

Venom (with no possible synergies) at level 20 does 425-445 over .4 seconds. That is 1062-1112 per second, for an average damage of 1087 per second.

Just imagine is Venom had synergies... *sigh*

Maybe that is why they did not give it a synergy!!!

Venom is very nice, but start adding some skills and Poison Nova doesn't lag far behind as far as damage goes and has a huge AOE (compared to Venom anyway). You do you have to spend 60 points to get it to that point though... :)

yeah with trang set pieces and a 48% spikey armour poison runeword thing, my necro would absolutely kill 8 player games baal minions without assistance. lower resist.... mud puddles.

Like I said, 10K+ Damage + over -100% Lower res = mud puddles :xsmile4:
