I read the bow guide but ended up more confused then when I started..
Friend has a WF and is willing to give to me. Is it possible to get it to 7 frames or is 8 more realistic and not that bad? Also, I'm confised as to what combination of equipment for the IAS needed? Some basic help would be cool.
Also.. just saw a image of Faith! Neato! Talking on chat someone told me that it doesnt always get lvl 15 Fanat and you could get anything from 12-15. If you end up with like 12 or 13 how do you get to 7 frames? or are you just screwed at that point.

147% needed for 8 frame wf.
shael wf = 40%
jeweled mavinas helm = 45% (or 3 socket helm)
amulet = 20%
gloves = 20%
belt 10%
total 135% ias. you will need 15% from armor.
ik gloves/boots gives 25% (5% increase)-not worth it
sigs gloves/boots gives 30% (10% increase)-not worth it
Faith with level 13-15 fanaticism on Merc means you only need 95% ias on amazon to reach 7 frame with WF (pretty cool for PvM I guess) and very achievable.
FAITH
With level 12 fanaticism you need 99% ias. 13-15 fanaticism and 95% gets you there. If you are unlucky enough to get level 12 then you must use partial IK or Sigs to hit 7 frame (if you want to also wear fortitude which is pretty much a given). Gear for 7 frame...
Mavinas - jeweled = 45%
gloves - 20%
amulet - 20%
belt - 10%
95%
Gloves - magnus skin, Laying of hands, crafted & 1 other unique which I forget.
amulet - cats eye or highlords wrath
belt - gold wrap or nos coil
XZON you rock, thanks for the post! How do you overcome the lack of knockback with Faith?
Faith sounds really nice but knockback is a must.

I have my WF strafazon down to 8 frames with the above build, and she just rocks at that level! Able to solo hell easily! Great reply XZON.
Can't wait to get the runes/bow/armor/Act1 merc to get to 7 frames...

I have a faith/fortitude using multizon for PvM (future PvP) who is now level 82. She is at 8 frames now and ready for baal runs. Actually my WF straffer is a safer (faster killing) build at this point. (for PvM) The lack of knockback is not that bad as monsters seem to be stunned and at 8 frames with a good merc & valk, knockback is not that important. Lets see when the baal runs start. Usually when I do baal runs with my level 93 WF straffer (maxed resists, 9/2 strafe, 900+ life) I can be the first one through the portal in 8 player games and still not die. Knockback just clears some space for everyone else to come in. I always just jump straight into the frey. I am not so sure that the Faith zon will be able to be as reckless.
For PvM I think wind force with multi, fortitude, 95% ias, maxed resists, fire, light & cold absorb and about 900 life with a faith merc should be the ultimate. This will give 7 frame multi with knockback, dual leech & about 4750 Physical multi damage. Can you immagine the guided damage with a pally party member with high concentration? This is definately a doable build.
for PvP faith/fortitude with 95% ias. Knockback should not be very important with 7 frame. I heard you can block lock some builds with that kind of speed.

I've got a lvl 90 faith/fortitude zon with around 400 dex, and a might merc. Doing around 3k multi dmg and just breezing through hell game.
Im wielding a Faith Matriachal bow with a lvl 14 Fana. With this setup i just need 48 IAS to reach a 7/2 frame attack speed.
Possible options (the ones i use)
Stealskull / 10 IAS
LoH / 20 IAS
Cats Eye / 25 dex and 20 ias.
Won't decent crafted gloves w/ knockback solve that problem ?
For PvM it's hard to give up 350% ed to demons. I am trying to craft some 20% ias, knockback, dual leech gloves but no luck so far.
Should also mention that I made my Faith in a Grand matron bow which is what I was basing my breakpoints on. I went this route for the higher damage. I did get lucky enough to roll +2 skills 14 fanaticism. Can't hit 7 frame for PvM though. (Well I could but leech would be a major problem. I have a dual 3% leech ring but this is just too low in my book. All other slots would be used for ias.)
Well, I got the WF. It's very nice. I think I may turn 60 before I ever get a couple 15 ias jewels though! Where is the best place to hunt for them XZON?

trade for them. check peoples mule clearance lists. usually find 1 for perfect gems. Ias / ed% are expensive but if you take your time, you can get a nice 15% ias / 30% ed jewel for around ist.

The fanaticism adds 33% to the base weapon speed. If weapon was +10 base, then it becomes -23. I beleive a +10 base speed bow needs 292% ias to hit 7 frames and a -10 base speed weapon only needs 142%. Now you can see why a -23 base speed weapon would only need 95%.
