Better then WF?

I got this

200% Colosuss Crossbow Buriza, (96-500 damage w/ a clvl91 zon)

I was looking at WF and the only significant mod compared to my buriza was the knockback.
Buriza hits faster, and adds more dex, which is better for zons? And if i Ohm the buriza it would do a lot more damage then the WF, and at the same time hit faster.

So what do you think you guys?

Buriza hits faster, and adds more dex, which is better for zons?Firstly - Buriza is not faster than WF, period. Crossbow need 2xx IAS to hit the final breakpoint where WF need 120 IAS (not to mentioned it came with 20 IAS). Last I recalled, even at the final breakpoint, Ballista is still some frames behind, 11/2 versus 9/2 on WF.

Secondly - Buriza is too slow for strafer. Strafer depend on 1 main issue to kill, IAS. Coupled with say the Atma amulet, most monsters will fall in your path.

However I have a built based on Ballista, a pure GA + FA zon. With Ballista max piercing attacking, the 20 skill point can be directed into the elemental tree bow skill. GA zon is also fun but required a more careful attack gameplay as you lack the speed of mass killing.

last breakpoint for WF is 7/2 i believe at like 292% ias. 9/2 (120% ias) is the fastest that straffers realistically try to hit with wf. This is much faster than the UNREALISTIC 11/3 strafe (215% ias) for a buriza.

how in the hell is buriza gonna be faster than wf??? its like 2 times slower no matter how much ias you invest in...no contest there, wf is the ultimate.

Calm down... i was wrong.

I only thought it was faster because they both have a base speed of 10 and Buriza gives 80 which is bigger then the 20 WF gives.

And i never said this zon was gona be a strafer...

That comes from the fact Crossbows are innately much slower than Bows. =[

7 Frames is impossible for a Base 10 bow without Fanatacism. Hoho, 292% IAS indeed.

I'd say anyone choosing to use or stuck with a Buriza would be better off using Multishot than Strafe.

I don't think its a bad bow really. Its saving grace is the high damage and the crazy 100% pierce.

Like people say, wf is really best. The Buriza is an excellent choice, too, though - but put your ohm in the wf and be amazed :)
