speed speed speed range and to use shield and of course beast/doom don't work on swords
to be more spesific berserker axe ;)

Sword, because I got a 403 ebotd CB in a trade for two Echoing javelins and Couldn't care less about getting an equivalent Berserker.
Well, I could, but I'm just too lazy.

i made several barbs with a sword
got 2 barbs with an axe
got 2 IK barbs
got 1 with a polearm
got 1 with a spear
they're all great fun (except IK)

The only Barbarian I've made in 1.10 is WW IK Barb. Very effective in PvM.

Botd BA 412% becouse speed, stats, leech, and dmg, dmg ,dmg--kabum
My last one used a sword but havent made one since 1.09...since then made an axe using concentrate barb and a scourge using frenzy barb only.
The axe, as usual, as it is the best 1h weapon in the game.

sword ecbboq why it is the only good weapon I have right now. But I would love to use a scrouge just to mess with peoples heads.

Oath eth balrog just ROXX against higher duelers. my lvl 55 ww barb just messes around with high lvl werewolfs and kicksins.

I am sry tp disappoint u but the +dmg is not added to the axe base dmg, it is just written o na rw,, this mean if u socket a greaf rw in a ba it will still have 71 max dmg, and not 471 if perfect, but i didnt try it how this is calculated on a ww dmg, any1 can help us out?

& calculating dmg isnt hard
example for max dmg :
total ed bonus = ed from mastery + ed from ww + ed on armory + str
total max dmg = max dmg on weapon * ( 1 + ( total ed bonus / 100 ) )
for 415% eth botd ba its easy to know max dmg, 545, for grief ba, well, some ppl think the 71 dmg is used & some ppl say 471 is used (if grief adds 400dmg)
so i'm gonna check dmg it does in pvp

+ dmg on grief is applied before all dmg bonusses giving better dmg than eth botd ba

well i choose axe but i also play spear from .09 ive played axe pvp (cbaq ed/max,eth) and spear (cwpq sheal,sheal) now to botd/grief axe barbs to botd ghost spear barb and soon a conc executioners justice barb

Ehm,, lol?? i cant belive we got a cheaper and a better weapon then bodt ba(at least by dmg),, can u show me this on ladder if u dont mind?

i use a beast ba and a 397% ebotdz the dmg is nice and its just fun to play... :xman: :xgift: :xgrin:

i'd go with axe because of the speed....
however i used to use a sword because i thought range was more importnat or sumthing like that; i dont know why i used a botd cb....

But seriously, my favourite ww'ing weapon by far is the Ribcracker. Especially since mace mastery workes on staves. An ebotd Archon staff would rule as well, so few requirements for so much damage and speed.

Too bad ebotd achron staff does not get the last break point for ww. I do think it would work better on another build. Like a max life build of some sort.

the archon still works very very nicly with ww =) 18 str req is just sexy 600-700 damage cant go wrong with it ;)

392% ebotd gaint thresher. Style > all.
Also use lvl 1 ww on my duel schaffer {frenzy} barb sometimes... Even that looks cooler than you all and your itty bitty axe's. :lol:

anyone tried using ebotd war pike? Not sure if its as cool as the GPA.. cos I found one of those and I'm thinking of making it into a ebotd.. advice anyone? whether it reaches last bp of WW?

i've seen lots of ppl use or think about use it & then i told them why gpa would be a lot better & they didnt believe me, said it had too low dmg to be used on a barb :s
only 1 guy so far could actually understand why speed is more important than dmg on weapon choise & he rebuild his barb & had loads of fun with it :D
Revision: that's why no one with working knowledge of integrated systems within the game uses it over the GPA.

Had a Botd Gpa last season it just shreds :)
But favorite be swords for the looks :thumbsup:
axes all the way! me thinks ghost spear be better than gpa if you use it as your second weapon choice! it has the same range/sockets/dmg but higher dex prereq than str(as oposed to gpa) which is nice since you'll pump up dex for block anyhow, and you loose much str when enigma/ss/arreat is removed!
