Aura stacking question ?

Hello guys !

Can someone explain what aura levels char will have if it equips :

a) 2 items with same aura level, like Dream Shield and Helm - each item has Holy Shock lvl 15, so do we have HS lvl 30 or only 15, no matter we have 2 items ?

b) 2 items with same aura but different lvl, like Hands of Justice weapon (Holy Fire lvl 16) and Dragon armour (HF lvl 14) and Dragon shield (Holy fire level 14 again) ? Will we have in this case lvl 46 Hooly Fire or some other level?

c) Bramble armour and Bow - Bramble can have various Thorns lvl 15-21 and Bow has 15 lvl of Thorns ... what will happen if we roll Bramble with exact lvl 15, just as bow, or higher (16 and above) ?

I know that 2xDream = lvl30 Holy Shock, and I am fairly sure that the rest work as specified. I have not done tests however, and could be wrong.

I'm pretty sure that if you have more than one source for an auto-aura they add, but if, there's a paladin or act 2 merc partied with you, then the aura they are using will take turns with an auto-aura if it's the same, if it's aura that can be shared that is (holy shock/fire/freeze don't give anything to anyone else).

What? Auras take turns? I thought if you had a partied zealot nearby, and you are wearing HFire Dream, both of you will ALWAYS share the 2 auras as long as you 2 are within radius although the aura beneath your foot changes constantly? :xx:

I think you misunderstood. It's certainly possible to have fanat, conviction, concertration, etc all on you at the same time. But if two pallies are partied and one is using level 15 fanat and one is using level 16 fanat, the fanat auras take turns. I *think* that a bowzon using faith (fanat aura) and a pally using his own fanat will take turns too.

from my expeirence the highest aura being granted is always on.

in 1.09 it strobed, i remember that.

Two or more items providing the same aura through this kind of text
"Level 14 Holy Fire Aura When Equipped"
will stack - for all other multiple sources of the same aura, the highest level takes precedence.

So eg Bramble + Edge = stacked Thorns aura (doesn't matter if they are different level), but Might merc plus Last Wish is just whichever is higher, same with Might Paladin plus Last Wish or obviously Might Paladin plus Might merc.

Auras are either on or not now, they do not strobe any more (although the graphic still does). If it is active at all, it is active all the time.
