Gear suggestions needed!

Yo, I am making a zon after not playing much for awhile, and I need some gear pointers. ok heres what i got so far:

fortitude archon
faith matriarch bow, lvl 13 fanat
eth sandstorm treks
Verdungos for belt

Now I think I need 40 more ias for 7fps, so 2 15 ias from a helm and an ammy with ias maybe? I was also thinking of using 1 dual leech ring and a 20 dex frost.

IMO best zon helm is:
45ias 45resist all of mammoth/whale (mammoth+is for tiaras and are expensive)

2nd ring use a resist/stat ring, many duped versions also have +ar and duel leech as well.

gloves = 20ias/kb/+2passive if you need kb and/or ias
dracs otherwise

ammy - use highlords/cats/and maras. cats when you dont need resist, highlords vs lite dmg, and maras vs other elements.

Ty, I was thinking ed/ias helm would be the way to go, that way I don't have to rely on ammy for 7fps. Plus only other real choice was coa, and that has too high str req.

The 120 ed on a 120-45 only adds around 600 dmg, which is 100 after pvp penalty and 50 after max dr.

On the other hand you could get a 45ias with resist and possibly +dex or life. Max resist on a bowazon is sick. Tank trappers and lasting a couple of Lightinngs and FBs means the sorcs has an even lower chance to win.

One con is that 15ias/15 resist all jewels are really expensive. On eastnl they are about 10-12 high runes each, probably alot rarer on ladder too.
I myself have a 45ias 43 resist all 36 life crown that I found on an old mule.
Resist>120ed.

A cheaper solution, if you were going for a mix of ias and resists, is too use Laying of Hands gloves, Highlords ammy, and a Kira's Guardian for a helm.

Between the LoH and Highlords, you're hitting the 40 ias you need, plus some added fire and Lightning resist. And the Kira's will give you 50 to 70 all resists. Even with the worst Kira's in the world, its still 5 more resists than a jeweled helm has.

Hmm, Nice suggestions both of you, I will look into trying both of them. Any ides about rings? Frost/dual leech ring with stats/res pretty much the way to go? The ring is the only leech I can get I think, So I guess it's a must have.

A Ravenfrost + rare dual leech ring is tried and true. Can't go wrong with that combo.

pvp - ring with +stats/resist; many of these also come with +ar and leech.

15ias kiras will work but a 45ias resist helm is more versatile, allowing you to change gloves/ammy and even the bow depending on the situation.

Another couple setups I was thinking of:

Andy helm with ias/fire res
atmas ammy
and my 10 ias/dual leech gloves gives me the 7fps, but my resists lack.

Mavs helm with ias/resist jewel
10ias/dual leech glove
atma ammy

With the andy setup my poison resists are at 75, but my others are around 20-30 + res, which doesn't suck but vs. sorcs it does considering I have fairly low life.

3X ias/res jewel isn't really an option, being on ladder I think this would cost me too much.

ias/x kiras would be the best helm for you then. Max resist easily obtained and the fhr is a nice extra.
