I have heard ppl talking about having like lvl 28 might on thier a2 merc.

how is that possible?

ariocs+andy's visage+valor = +8

how do u get more than that?

At certain lvl breakpoints, a2 mercs attain an increase in their aura lvls.

yea i forgot about that...

in that case, my lvl 85 might merc should have a lvl 25 might without items.

that makes lvl 31 with ariocs and visage.

but how come when i trade my mercs +4 ariocs with a bonehew, it seems like his might aura is worthless?

going from lvl 31 to lvl 27 might doesnt seem like it would make a huge difference.

But when i take it down a few lvls i kill very slow. doesnt seem to add up.

trying to decide if its worth making an insight polearm for my might merc.

doing the math, it sounds like a great idea.

Those stats are incorrect for 1.10.

At level 85 his Merc will have level 17 Might aura. The maximum level the Merc will obtain is level 20 Might when he reaches level 95.

The problem is that diabloii.net doesn’t update that page very often. It used to be correct, but most of that info is no longer suitable for 1.10.

The formulas for might mercs are:

Might level: (clvl-15)/4, truncated as usual
Might ed: (slvl+3)*10, assumming Arreat Summit is correct AND the progression continues unchanged beyond slvl 20
