MF Sorc Need help w/ gear and skills plz

I have always played a mf sorc w/ orb/nova but when i played last (5-6 months ago) i noticed that i wasnt getting the insane amount of dmg i remember the spamming nova and just killing everything around me. Is there a better set up that will deal more damage?

Also how should i divy up stats to get the most benefits and what armor should I get.. Its been a while and i have a rough idea but i really need the best.

I would appreciate any comments/ suggestions.

The new patch balanced many of the skills for good builds look at the sorceress guide library stickied at the top of the forum.

Blizzard/fire skill sorcs are probably the most popular or one of the most popular.

Single-tree builds are also great but only do them on bnet or twinked single player.

Armour is a hard one to choose from, some use skin of vipermagi, some use rare armour etc.
Gloves: chain guards - 40%
Weapon: gull on switch - 100%
Helm: 3 ptopaz helm - 72%
Shield: milabregas orb - 20%
Boots: rare +MF, +FRW boots - 25%
Belt: Goldwrap - 30%
Rings: 1 nagel, (2 if u can) - 30%
Amulet: 25mf+ amulet - 25%

Thats a fairly easy set of equipment to get and will net you 340% MF or so. Of course there are better things out instead of these and you may need to sacrifice some MF for killing power.

But in the exp. you should be gettin 400%+ mf on a able character.

Helm- Ptopaz Shako
Armour- Ptopaz Tals Armour
Belt- Tals
Ammy- Tals
Weapon- Ist occy
Shield- Waiting for Ist Lidless
Gloves- Have 39% chances but waiting for 40%
Boots- 50% war travs
Rings- 2 x 30% nagels

For an mfing sorc, I would definitely suggest a Meteor/Frozen orb sorceress. This build has taken me to Hell Mephisto runs with 350 or so mf and i have been extremely succesful.
