Pally shield I found

I stole this off the floor in baals. I'm not sure if this is a good low level smiter shield or not, and i realise its not ethereal, but is it anygood?.

I am thinking the 60% ed will add some extra punch to smite and 4 extra sockets are a bonus. If anyone needs it, it can do with a home. US East btw :xsmile3:

You've got the right idea, but way off on the application. :lol:

First, I'm not sure if you were hinting at this or not, but ethereal shields have the same smite damage as non ethereals, so that doesn't matter.

Second, low lvl smite is awful, even with the best shield/gear you can find you can't dish out hardly any damage at all.


That shield is worth something because you can throw four +9 max dmg jewels in it and use it on a VLLD Sacadin or Chargadin (lvl 9-12). 60% ed and +36 max dmg on a shield is nothing to laugh at. Just for reference, the highest %ed you can get is 65%.

So put it up for bids in the trade forum. If the right person comes along you might be surprised at what you can get.
