Need help: PvP Bowazon Setup.

After playing my PvP (Pub) Barb for a couple days (Also PvM'ed, and only Iron Maiden killed me. #%@^$%&*@! ><!! ), I'm pretty sure I'm going to scrap him since he's had his fun. Currently level 86. If you've read some of my other posts, I've been playing this game for less than a month by now, so I don't really have any knowledge on what I'm doing, lol (Which is why I'm looking for guides).

I've looked around, but I haven't had much luck on finding a PvP Bowazon guide. I'm assuming since the 1.10 patch severally decreased the Bowazon's ownage, people have moved onto other characters? I traded my full Natalya's set for WF (Not sure if it's 1.08 or 1.09), Vamp Gaze, Shaftstop w/ Pul, and Tgods belt (Gaze and WF are personalized; Is "repersonalization" possible?). So I'm basically looking for better gear, and I still have my Barbs gear to trade with (EBotD CB; 384ed, 2000def Stone, Verdungos, Steelrends, GoreRiders, StormShield, 2xHighlords, Eye of Etlich, and some other things).

I was thinking of basing my build/equipment from jpitems.com (http://jpitems.com/sguidediablo2.htm#ama), but I'm pretty sure some of the items listed on there will be hard [impossible] to get and I'm seeing some people prefer Strafe over Guided Arrows since they fixed that, so I have no clue.

Currently like level 8, and I've used no skill points, and I have 60 base dex (So I can use Sigons).

hey there...

first - wellcome to amazon forums !

The primary built of PvP BOWaZON is quite simple really... It goes like this (more or less):

STATS - enough str to wear some whatever armor, lots (I mean LOTS of) of dex to have good dmg, no energy and deacent life (this one is for U to decide) - I'd go for 600 to 800 (U may try to get more) with all the gear, charms, CallToArm (if U plan to get one)...

SKILLS - well :) simple: GuidedArrow [20], CriticalStrike [20], Penetrate[1], Pierce [1] (those 1-ones are needes as it's convinient to use Multishot as well), get your d/a/e to like 50%/50%/50% or 60%/50%/60% (take into account items U'll use), everything rest goes to Multishot[rest] :lol:

GEAR - well, my recomendacions: WF (shaeld), armour socketed with 4 40ed/15ias jewels (just 15ias if U can't afford 40/15's), gaze (ED/max or ED/ias jeweled), double ravens for rings, Cat'sEye for amulet, Gore Riders as boots, and rare +2 to passive skills +20ias gloves, and T-gods or nosferatus or werdungo's or even strings for a belt.


The skills goes pretty much like I wrote, stats to, and the gear - well it is possible to modify, for eg.: rare matriarchal for bow with good dmg (then recount ias for reaching brakepoins), this gives more speed, but less dmg, U may reconcider armour, if U think U do not require so much speed (but basicly U do :lol: ), some people like to use M'avinas diadem for a helm (it has 30 ias - 45 with a jewel) it can help to save ias to change some other items...

Currently level 63. Did some trading and I'm currently using:

Weapon - Random Crossbow (Until I'm level 73 for Shael'd Wind Force Looking for a new one as this one is personalized. Where do you find godlike Bows?).
Helm - 45IAS/120ED Crown.
Armor - 60IAS/160ED Archon Plate
Amulet - Eye of E. (Until I can use Highlords, or I find a Cats).
Ring1 - Raven Frost.
Ring2 - Havoc Spiral (5/6 Dual Leach).
Gloves - Venomhides. (I have nothing else).
Belt - 14%DR Verdungos.
Boots - Gore Riders.
Switch - Nothing. Looking for a CTA.

I'm basically looking for better alternatives if available on any of my equipment. I have Guided Arrow and Critical Stike Maxed out, around 5 points into Avoid, 1 in Evade, 1 in Dodge, 1 in Multishot, with around 10 points left over right now.

And my resistances in Hell are pitiful. Around -60 on pretty much all of them. Anyway to fix this? And does anyone have a guide on calculating IAS/Breakpoints/etc? I can't seem to find one anywhere.

The point being is that your ganna have to sacrifice resistance for the ias/ed equip, but my zon has 10 base points in evade, dodge, and avoide, 5 into multishot (more in this just mean more mana useage, and who cares about shoot "really big" areas) max out ga, max out critical, and the rest of the points should be used in the passive area... since your going pvp and all this is more important then more lvl's in multishot, which you'll never be useing much in duel's, and i think theres a ias break point for bows somewhere, i've seen it before.

how on earth did u get a 387 eboth cb and only play for a month? ive ben playing for over 2 years and i dont have one (altho i could easily trade my hammerdin gear for one) lol i dont understand how a noob (no offense but its true) can have all this stuff did u buy ur accnt? or do u have just THAT godly of friends?

Friends. Some don't play anymore, and others just have extra equipment. One of my friends had an account with the mule itself containing only armor, boots, helms, etc. but it expired! ><!

I'm pretty sure I messed up on my Zon, because right now I have 400-500 life, and I'm doing around 3-4k damage at level 74. Around 130base into str, around 300base in dex, and around 100base for vit. This is used the 60IAS/160ED Armor and 45IAS/120ED. I'm also using Highlords, so I was hitting around 9FPS.

What are Raves, Imp Brow, Glae Grasp? And I need alternatives. I can't get the best of everything.

I was just thinking of dropping the Bowazon build and going Javazon .. :( Seems like it would be easier.
