gimme a build idea

Just recently I laid hands upon a lightsabre, a weapon I never use (i do mostly asns and casters) and would like to start using just because of its nifty mods. I eyed up its 'ITD' mod, and was thinking... what kind of fun build could I make to take advantage of it? a non-standard build that would survive well enough... perhaps a chanter? a chanter with strong emphasis on eshield?

Or is there a standard melee build that would benefit from this weapon? I was thinking about building a frost zealot, and im not sure if this sword would help him or not (ias, magic damage, more elemental damage, and ITD to make sure i hit all sound good to me)

in any case, i would just like some suggestions on what kind of build could make this their end-game weapon. i dont have huge wealth, especially in the melee department, so just a fun but playable build would be great to know about... if nothing else, point me in the right direction... im still thinkin frost zealot/chanter/something like that.

If you are into sins make a kicker, it would make a fine weapon for her. For pvm play max Death and lightning sentry are great massdestruction. The kicker is also alot of fun to play. Get a pair of myrmidion greaves (upped Gores being the top pick) and kick away.

As you only have one, I'd suggest a zealot. It's not the best weapon for it, but it works. If you get another one, or if you have another good sword, a dual weapon WW barb would do fine. There are also the melee druids. You could choose one of them. I wouldn't go with kicksins or and chant sorcies. Druids, barbs and zealots will do better.

Trust me, I know all about kickers :D theyre on of my favorite builds. It would make an acceptable weapon for one, but I could also get claws and go c/c or c/s for one... and ive been thinking about building a hybrid trapper for a while, and im pretty comfortable with them.

Ive seriously been considering a frost zealot. I think this may just get me to make one. I know LS isnt the best weapon out there, but right now in hc its the best sword i own, so hopefully i can make a frostydin work out...

If anyone has any more great ideas for me let me know, right now im 80% leaning toward holy freeze paladin ( :xsnow: ), but i can be swayed easily :D

Am using a Lightsabre (or rather, was - since I haven't played the char in yonks) on my own Frosty.

Worked fairly well, though was a pain when you ran into Cold Immunes still (it worked, just don't expect to get anywhere soon in an 8-player game...)

It should work with either a frosty or tesladin as long as you have some crushing blow somewhere else. And you have life leech somewhere else i think it should be socket with a shael for faster zeal.

Hmm.. well im sure thats natural with a Frosty... I mean what kind of weapon would do anything, I would just be using zeal and no other crazy stuff like fanatacism... is there a good weapon for a frosty to use against cold immunes?

EDIT: Ahh yeah, CB would do great... Ill get some of that. Goreriders perhaps? I cant stand to be without frw... And life leech could be a concern, Ill have to find better rings than the ones i currently have.

Guilleaumes + Duress + Gorerider = pretty much all the CB you need.

Add Dracul's Gloves (most vital piece of equipment for a Zealot imo... even more important than HoZ) and you'll get there soon enough.

I like much more tesladins, they can deal huge damage, but they lack in AR; itd, if u have it, i think u can kill basicly anything! light immunes can be hard, just make sure that u got cb, ow, ds, decent physical dmg.
