Which is the better sheild for poison damage?

I found a sheild that has +2 to poison and bone skills and +2 to Poison Nova.

Is it better to use than Trangs sheild with it +2 poison and bone skills plus the -25 poison resistence when I wear three Trang items. Sheild, gloves and sheild.

I mainly use poison nova to kill monsters.

I also have a wand with the white rune word that has +3 to poison and bone skills and +3 to poison nova, So I get +6 to poison nova plus the other mods. Is this better than a good Death Web Wand?

Any replies advice would be appreciated.

If your wearing the full trangs set then i would defintely go with trangs wing due to the extra bonus overall with the set.

As for death webs the +skills are fairely decent but i think what makes this wand really good is the -X% poison resistance that would boost your overall power/damage of you poison skills. Not forgetting life and mana leech as well.

Im wearing the 3 trang pieces and Im really pleased with the results.
As for deaths web, imho, is without doubt the best poison necro weapon.

dunno about without a doubt but it definitely ranked one of the best. It really depends what your build and skills are.

I am happy with my Blackbog's and Fleshripper due utilising PD.

The most important mod for a Poisonmancer is -% Enemy Poison Resist. The damage boost this becomes greater as the enemy has more Poison Resist.

An example:

Let's take a level 20 Nova with level 20 synergies. This gives you 1781-1953 poison damage.

First let's take a look at -25% Enemy Poison resist from Three part Trang. If we use it on a monster with 0% Poison Resist the monster will receive 2226-2441 poison damage. This is a damage increase comparable to a little over +3 skills.

Now let's take a look at an enemy with 50% Poison Resistance. With Tree Part Trang you will do 1335-1464 poison damage. In this case that is comparable to almost +6 skills.

That is also why Death's Web is better than the +6 Nova Wand.
