noob question on pvp barb weaps

I'm close to making high lvl dueller
The equip is: arreats, twitch, storm, highlord, 2 ravens, verdungo, steelrends, gore rider, 10 baba combat with 3x life, 9 life scs
What is better - BoTD or Doom? BoTD used by all, has 90 stats and better IAS. Doom has DS, skills and roughly same dmg (not best Botd I mean). Will HF give real advantage? All HC specific

Why twitch? If you can afford BoTD, 10 skillers with life, you can surely scrape together 4 good ed/ias jewels and put them in a jewelers of the whale... That armor is much better. You really should go for 9 frame zerk, if you hit it without all ed/ias jewels, then I'd go ed/max or plain ed in the jewelers of the whale... if you need 15%, one ed/ias, rest ed/max or plain ed's.

Basically, while twitch IS a decent zerker armor, its not really all that good for a high level zerker (I'm assuming youre a zerker....if not, drop the twitch NOW ;) )

So, Go for 9 frame zerk, it makes a BIG difference, and conscider an armor change.

twitch is cheaper and you need only 1 ED/15 IAS jewel (just bought storm with 33/15, so Im set with these jewels)
Twitch gives twice more life, fhr and IAS, meaning you wont need charms with fhr and such
I think I go even cheaper and use maybe bloods instead of steelrends ^^
AS for doom, I see the problem, so I will use Botd

Doom and BOTD do not have the same damage. Not a chance. Doom has less enhaced damage and it must be made out of an ordinary weapon. Now whoever makes BOTD out of a weapon that is not ethereal must be shot. It will deal much more damage, and it also has more ias, wich will help berserk.

Also, you don't wanna be fixing Dooms. That's more than 200k with Gheed's.

Edit: and yes, using Doom is bad manner.

bought a 33/15 SS but wanna switch rends for bfists because they are cheaper? what the hell is up with that? lol.. anyone who can afford a 33/15 SS dont need to worry about petty things such as steelrends..

My suggestions: zerk is crap, go 2 handed ww (2 handed ww= annhilator of zerkers). Gear BotD zerker axe, ed/ias jewels, rends, arreats, storm, verdungos, 2 ravens, highlords, gores, sharps of vita (imo combats are crap compared to sharps) use an anni (you don't have 1 listed), twitch is crap, with arreats and verdungos you only need 8% more fhr a sharp lc of balance takes care of that. Actually on 2nd thought trade for that stuff then donate it to me I can make better use of it :xtongue:

I actually like it :xsmile4: I like the fact that it's a chicken killer. A high level, decked out zerker's gotta be doing a few thousand PvP on a good roll... and DR wont help reduce it, thats gonna be some 1hit kill action on casters, and chicken most barbs.

I mean, my 53 did nearly 2k PvP on a high roll, a BoTD++++ high level barb should probably be doing 3-4k PvP per hit.... That WILL KO nearly any PvMer silly enough to duel you, and be at most a 3 hit kill on ANY other dueler, unless its a nice barb, and you get the 3 lowest rolls possible. But you see what I mean, it does MASSIVE 1hit damage, which, when its enough to KO people, its very, very nice. Paired with teleport, you are a force to be reckoned with.

That said, WW is very nice too, probably better against non chickeners, but I just dont see it getting many ears, due to the high number of chickeners.

Either way, you're still droppin the twitch ;) If you go WW, conscider a Duress armor, and I still say a ~160ED life armor is the way to go on a zerker, with other ones avaliable depending on the duel (GA vs casters who are being in any way lame, Thul'd armor vs cold sorcs, Ort'd one for CSers and Trappers who will probably use LR, Shaft vs physical damage you think might otherwise 1-2 hit you) etc. Basically, I'd say a nice ed/life armor is a good default, with customized armors easily attanied if you feel youneed them.

Yes, people like to show they are rich, but thats not the case
All know I'm into low lvl duelling, but I felt my experience w/o high lvl pvp will be not enough.
Now the question: can you make successfull high dueller w/o real good equip? Same with football - you can play with your friends, but can you play vs Arsenal or Chealsea? So BOTD or doom is necessary, its not a question what you can afford, but will you be able to make dueller.
Now: about this jewel. Yes, I bragged about buying it, but I didnt pay enigma or so. Averall it costed me like ist + mal or gul. Is it so expensive so that only cheaters can offord it?
Yes, I wanna switch gloves, because I know successful barbs not using rends. And they require +30 more str btw.
So your comments, evils are at least immature, pity even d2 doesnt give you enough relaxation
