-35% resist or +3 to skills

Yes,my dilemma is between Crescent Moon and Occy.I curently have 4 skillers,Gryphon's,+2 light skills ammy,1 soj,Archanid.With this set up would -35% res from CM help me more or I should stick to Occy.

i would go with occy because it not only provides skills but also

cast
resis
and attribute points

i dont play many sorcs so hope u get more opinions

-35 will usually come out to more damage then +3 skills in hell games, especially if you use griffons with a facet here and there. If you can still hit the cast breaks then youre ok.

I would say go -35 but it depends on FCR BP's, if you can't hit them without it its not anywhere near worth the loss in casting time. If you still can hit it though I suggest the CM... unless you can get yourself a nice Eschutas and stick a 5/-5 in it and nab the best of both worlds. Thats what I would do... plus 40 FCR never hurt anyone...

If you are PvP I definitely think you should go with -35%. It is always useful to have -res especially if they stack their resistances. If you are PvM, you don't need to hit more than -100% res altogether so use +skills if you have a large amount of -res.

-res better than +3 skills if u can keep up with the fast cast rate, you lose versatility though.

I am PvM and according to soepgroente's table I will lose one frame per cast by not using occy-from 13 to 14 frames.I guess it is still better,especially I am only PvM?In this case,does it matter in what sword I should make CM?Faster sword-better?Or perhaps you can give me style advice:D

Why don't you go 20% light Eschuta's Temper w/ 5/5 light facet? It suits PvM / Pvp both very well.. :xirish: :xman:

I am not that rich.Found Griffon's at Pit a week ago and they are pretty bad stats.I have Eschuta's but I don't want to spend a fortune on 5/5 jewel because I already have huge +%boost from Lightning mastery and I want some more -enemy res than 5.It would be a completely different question if I had a 4x 5/5 jewel shield,5/5 perfect Griffon's and 5/5 perfect lightning Ormus.Then Eschuta's could be better but I may give CM a try.

Besides that Uriah, if you dont care for losing 1bp you will indeed do alot more damage. -35% Lightning Resistance is more than +3 skills.

Crystal Swords look cool and have just a little bit of str req and very low lvl req.
