PK Gear questions

Hi folks, I've finally grown bored enough of D2 that I've decided to give PK'ing a go.my question is this: I have (or will have) a Jabberzon, and I've followed Baranor's guide as closely as gear will allow, but for armor I have two choices either an eth (or regular) Twitch or a rare two socketed field plate with 34 life/XX Light Res/-20% Reqs and some other mod that escapes me.Which is the better choice? I have CK boots on her already so dex isn't much of an issue, nor is strength, but the will the FHR of twitch be important enough to use it?

Also for Javs I have some +13 Max Eth War Javs(lvl 18) or Some rares that give +1 to zon skills (lvl 22), as well as a few sets of javs that have +XX% ED or Elemental damage. Any Suggestions here?

Edit: for shileds I have either Pelta or a Shimmering BSOD, which of these two would you use?

Twitch is used for the IAS, so use it. All that other stuff is just gravy... really, thick, tasty gravy.

Use the highest damage War Javs you can find at lvl 18, simple.

Shimmering BSOD, pray for 2 sockets.

for javazons speed is king, use the bsod. Also try multiple imbues of ethereal war javs, look for high dmg ias and amp (amp is ownage for a jabber).

Actually, I believe 20% IAS is ideal on throwing spears and war javs, and along with deaths combo and twitch, you will hit a speed breakpoint you otherwise wouldent, without the 20% IAS that is.

and yes, twitch>any rare armor at that level for a jabber.

thanks for the replies. As it stands right now, I have:

Eth Twitch
CK Boots
Angelic jewelry
3 Sock Sup. Mask which will get 3x 12 maxes
Shimmering BSOD
Deaths Gloves/sash
and around 500+ life

now all I need is a rush to get the shield and armor socketed and I'm ready to start taking ears :D or trying to.

Amp owns so hard on jabbers it's not even funny....

If you can't roll a great amping pair, try to just find a 20% ias amp pair and have them on switch...The amp really does add quite the kick.

The life seems a little low to me. With all that +dex gear, a high blocking shield (thanks to bsod AND twitch) and low str gear, I'd expect you could get much higher. I run a 14 with 600 life on the nose, and I know I could get slightly more with more perfect life charms. I pumped a lot of str too (about 50).

Maybe you are using damage charms?

My life@ level 16 is 556. I'm using a combo of Max Charms and life charms. By the time I get her skills done, she should have around 750-800 life I hope. As it is with life charms I've used just about everything I could find which means some 9 life LC's and the like, but the more nm cow runs I do, hopefully I'll turn up a few more decent Life charms.

They're nightmare's for chargers....75% block + dodge....Ugh. It gets to be a real uphill battle for them.

I'd say you're fairly safe life wise...if you choose to duel it's a bit different, but not much. Pking is generally not threatening unless you're hunting some one way over you, or they decide to camp the stairs.
