What's the safest char to run this guy?
Thanks

If you've got the gear to make a good one, a bonecro with high dim vision would be my choice, as you'll never run into immunity troubles. Others that work quite safely and on hardly any gear are trappers and javazons, as they both do the damage to take everything out quickly and both have extremely tough minions to cast in front of them. The trapper is the safer of the two as it has mindblast.
Slightly less safe than those choices are blizzard sorks making generous use of GS, and FA zons.

cleric. just get loads of fcr. max sanctuary will keep them off you. get an a3 cold merc to watch your back - a2 merc will go after pindle and get in the way of your holy bolts. you shouldn't have much trouble getting a rush either - everybody loves a cleric.
I reckon any character using azurewrath Phase blade would do some good. Here are the mods:
Azurewrath
Phase Blade
One-Hand Damage: (102-114) To (115-129) (108.5-121.5 Avg)
Required Level: 85
Required Strength: 25
Required Dexterity: 136
Base Weapon Speed: [-30]
+230-270% Enhanced Damage (varies)
+30% Increased Attack Speed
Adds 250-500 Magic Damage
Adds 250-500 Cold Damage, 10 sec. Duration (Normal)
+1 To All Skills
+5-10 To All Attributes (varies)
Level 10-13 Sanctuary Aura When Equipped (varies)
Indestructible
+3 To Light Radius
(Ladder Only)
Notice the sanctuary aura. That will knockback all the undead around you...everyone in pindles area is undead.
You can also put this sword on an act 5 barbarian mercanary.
My top choices for characters would be:
Fireball sorceress with azurewrath barb merc
Cleric paladin with sanctuary aura and holy bolt/fists of the heavens
Zeal pally, fury wolf or zerk barbarian with azurewrath sword.
Kicker assasin holding azurewrath
frenzy barb with azurewrath+some other cool wep

A simple skellnecro.
Enter the red, start summoning till the dead wake up. Go to town trough the red to gather all your skells.
Jump back in, amp and CE. Run up to the point where you can see Pindle and his gang, cast claygolem, amp, CE a couple times and its done.
Pick up the exeptional unique every 300 runs.
Basicly, Pindle can be run by every char, all of them have their own unique way for taking on Pindle.
Though I've never used it, I don't think I would trust sanctuary to keep me safe. Doesn't it "pulse" the knockback effect, and push everyone back at once every few seconds? If so a quick charge can get through that and would make me nervous.
I'd vote boner, with 1 point into revive (assuming some extra skills on top of that). Run eld and shenk first, get a nice pack of monsters to help you and then go after pindle. (At least, thats the strategy I use)
Enter the red portal, sprint into the archway, drop a golem in between you and the pack. Cast decrepify quickly, then spam your bone magic (spear prolly) until one drops. Then CE the rest. I wouldn't even use amp. All your revives will cover your backside, and with any luck one or two will join your golem for forward protection too. Your level one skellies can be nice decoy for helping golem too, since they will follow you closely and not get distracted by the obstacles/monsters in the garden.
Practice on NM before you do it in hell, get your hotkeys nice and settled before you go for the real run. It's not hard, but you should be fluid and quick to make sure you aren't standing alone infront of the whole pack with no golem and no decrep.
As an additional bonus, bone armor can take a charge for you if things get out of hand. I would not run pindle with a sorc. You can have a hundred safe runs but it only takes one bad one to really mess you up.
(Holy shock+cursed got me, was charged right after I got flashed and cursed. bubye blizz sorc  ).

No, no, no.
Simply the best is a trapper.
Run in, cast mind blast repeatedly until one or more are converted, cast shadow master into the pack, run to side of room behind the jutting wall. Cast 5 lightning sentries from there. Wait until 1 skele dies, run out slightly, cast 1 or 2 death sentries. Pick up ss.
(I've been hit once by a quick fanat skele who bypassed my mindblast and charged me for about 1/2 red bulb).
The best thing about running pindle with a trapper is that you can put on heaps of mf% without any bother.
My trapsin has 477%mf merc 72% - the first and only monarch pindle dropped for me in about 30 runs was unique.
Javazon seems to be pretty safe. LF works good. Trouble is my javazon has zero mf so nothing good has come of it.

Pindle run is usually best combined with other runs in order to decrease your chances of getting "realm down".

My vote is on bone-necro. I start all my runs there summon 7 skellies fires teeth until a skelly drops then spam ce. Then run into pindles house bonewall then spear 'til I get a ce target. Trapper and Blizz/Orb sorc might be as good or even better, but my necro has me a little biased :)
Javazons are nice. They sometimes glitch imo, you see the fury but it does no damage.

Wow, you just got me thinking. Is it possible to trap pindleskin and his ******ed minions with bonewall! I think I might try that just for fun, it will be so cool since you could block out the door so his pesky buddies in the halls won't get to you!

I do a similar tactic- run in & raise skele on all those pretty corpses & CE as many others as I can. Then march onto Pindle.
I like using the CE jsut to make sure cause those buggers can be very deadly if you miss seeing one come back to life and get a free shot at your backside while your attention is focused on Pindle.

One thing no one has mentioned, (perhaps because they didn't know about it?) is a little bug which can come in handy.
I use it with my trapper.
You talk to anya and look at her offerings.
Go into red, run under the lintel stone, run back to red portal (or just wait around for about 1.5seconds). Go back up thru red portal. Talk to anya again, buy artisans of squid and jewelers of whale off her. Go back thru red tp, and ...
no more skeles in pindle garden! Gogo pindle's garden bug!
Kill pindle without worrying about a skele charging you from behind.

yeah, i wouldn't trust it in melee given how fast the skeletons charge is and how tight that hallway is. i also remember reading at some point that its additional damage is bugged and isn't anywhere near what is listed. at a distance, though, it does enough. holy bolt mows down undead so fast anyways...
Holy Bolt receives bonuses from:
Blessed Hammer: 50% magical damage/level
Fist of the Heavens: 50% magical damage/level
Prayer: 15% life healed/level
yep... +2000% damage when fully synergized. you can do an average of ~25000 damage per bolt before +skills. my first char on ladder2 was a cleric and i ran hell pindle with junk gear. didn't even have max santuary (since i had prayer maxed) and the range was enough for pindle. not enough, however, for stygian dolls, i was sad to learn.
Pick up ss.
It's this part that I always mess up.
I must be missing it underneath all the isenharts cases and sanders boots.
