Stupid Charge Pally Q

I am finishing up my 29 charger and have been trying to shop for a plus to holy shield sceptor from ormus and malah for just about 2 hours now and have not seen a single one...Can that mod not spawn on sceptors? I have tried 3 different characters and all 3 difficulty levels.... PLease help me here, lol

ALso, do I go for max block on this pally? I have 81 stat points left with no more to put in str and have put none in dex or vita...with sanders and angelic combo I Have 40 in dex. With charms I have 435 life and still need to do my jade figuring quests, at least in nm and norm and have a couiple spots for life charms left....

With no 15 maxs in my armor yet and a couple spots left in my shield for ed/max I do 4579 dmg with my eth honor naga. Does this seem about right? ANy more info is always appreciated :xdrunk:

Well, I dont know if that life is good or not... 800 is a good target for them, when all is said and done, less than 800 is subpar, 900 is above average, and over 900 is very good.

holy shield doesn't spawn on scepters, also I'd say for 29 charger your life should be 1k+, if you're shielded (which apparently you are) then I'd say go max block.

Also if you have room I have a few life charms if you want them.

ok, now I guess I have offically wasted 2 hours of my life, lol...I am full of charms, most of which are life ones, and after my jade quests and using the rest of my stat points to get max block and rest in vita, I see my life being around 650-700 ish....No idea how you guys get 1k unless you have perfect charms.....I have 111 str for naga, will have 71 dex ( i think after trying ot get as many plus skills as possible to cast holy shield) and the rest in vita....hopefully I can find a way to bump it up some

My 27 had a few sharps and some mediocre life charms... still topped 750. You may be overdoing it with sharp charms, as my max dmg was almost 1k less than yours (non-eth Honor Naga).

Also, are you using Bloodfists, and why lvl 29 instead of 27?

I went to 29 so I could wear string...not really another good belt to use other than deaths sash, and that against cold chars which I will have one of those too... I am using bloodfists, angelics, 4 socket armor (might have spend time and money to get a 3 sock with life one) sanders 3 socket helm, 4 sock 57 ED shield...I think I will be around 650...after hell jade, if I can do? We will see....thanks for input everyone

also that dmg is without any armor jewels at all in it too and 2 more spots in the shield, so I guess I should be content with the dmg and get some more life

If you've gone to lvl 29, may as well go to 30 for artisan's of squid, unless you've put the jewels in your armour already.
(or 31 for rockstopper).
The dmg on the weapon, shield and jeweled armour is more than enough to 1 hit most ppl.
Life +/- dr is better for pala's imo then extra dmg on top of an eth naga.

My 27 pala's usually have over 900 life. I just don't go into bat with anything less.

1. that mod doesnt spawn on scepters any more (did in 1.09). As to few hours - plz try to shop for 3/3 claws and say they dont exist ^^
2. Life for 27 lvl should be 1,2k. My pala at least had that, but I used Knout. I dont like nagas because of their high reqs. Any lower than 1,1k will get killed in 1 hit from many wel-built chars (eth snap chargers, same Honor chargers etc). I'd say 1k is critical, but for real safety need 1,1-1,2. I died to lvl 19 assa with lvl 18 zealot 1050 life
3. 1h pala cant be made w/o max block - otherwise why? Make eth snapper
4. Belt for lev <29 is rare with str and life. No need deaths for charger, but such a belt can add almost 100 life
