I traded this ladder shield for some non ladder charms from a friend.

It was orginally a crown sheild but just took me a few minutes to gather the runes and gems to upgraded it

I might make V/T or just wait until ladders ends. Depends if I can find/trade any good combats which most unlikely.

A HoZ will still be better for a V/T or just a Vanquisher IMO. But sweet find anyways. What are you planning for the sockets?

Well the advantage over the HOZ is the crazy max smite damage and the 2 open sockets. The -30 is also a nice added mod to not worry about carrying the shield. I think the most common socket I can think of is ber ber cause then that could leave me to Jah my shako for more life.

Also you can't forget originality points. :D

It would be original, but you could easily upgrade an HoZ for less than the cost of 2 bers, and an upp'd HoZ would be superior.

That, and the fact that no one can tell what shield you're using when you have Holy Shield activated...

wow...i mean...WOW. although i still like uped hoz better, that shield is truly original. most ppl could probably see what shield u use anyway since they have mh.

Well I'm going for orginality at this point. I have about 11 upgraded HOZ shields on ladder so thats how common that shield is. I still get comments about my jewelers kurast shield with 4 bers. All they say you noob 4 bers...what a waste. Just get a storm shield...zzzzz Also a good portion of b.nets users map hack just based on the comments about my gear yet I haven't even traded to show them.

Ah someone who appreciates good rares. Yeah I'll probably use this shield but it never hurts to have a upgraded Hoz in stash.

The shield is quite nice, too bad it doesn't have some resistances as auto mod, but you can't have everything :) Worth some style points, that for sure :p
