How to equip upped Hone Sundan?

I just upped a hone sundan for my summoner's merc, and the dex req is 163(!)
I went and checked my pally's lvl 93 merc and his dex is only 162. My merc's gear will be hone sundan(amn, shael, eth), Guillaume's face, and probably +2 arkaine's valor. How do I get my merc to equip the hone sundan without going to level 93+?

Using an eth upped one helps too, as the base dex req is 152. It'll be even lower after the -20% req from hel.

If you change the Eth with a Hel, the amount of Dex your Merc needs will drop drastically. A Crown of Thieves gives you +25 Dex. Socketing the armor or helm with a Perf Emerald gives you +10 Dex.

I wouldnt bother spending runes/pgems to get your merc able to wear hone sudan, I would save those up and trade em for an ariocs needle.

might merc with ariocs and andariels visage dies very rarely, and gets +6 to might/jab.

I knew it would be a while b4 i would find/afford a +2 Valor, so i made a 120% enhanced damage armor out of a 850 def. 4OS, sup, eth, diamond mail.

with might, my merc does like 3300 max damage and can easily kill a couple things to raise skellys out of anywhere in hell.

Thanks for replies everyone. I think I'll go with socketing armor/helm with pemeralds, and see how that works out.

Or, just use Crow Caw for a level. There's Dex on there (And IAS and open wounds... it rocks).

I bought a -15% req, 23% ED jewel to put in that made it wearable. But I also agree with the Arioc's, since that benefits all your minions (I use a Fishymancer so +4 might for all skells is very nice). I only use the Hone if I'm Baaling or if I ever find DClone.
