Question About Block & Bone Armor

Well im finally starting my ladder nerco and i have a few questions to ask about bone armor and blocking.

1) Does bone armor and block work at the same time?

2) If it does, should i go with a max block pvp bone nerco or get lots of life.

Block works first, then if the hit succeeds, it subtracts from bone armor.

I find max block (if you're using a shield with good blocking like SS or Homunculus) to be more effective than going max vit. If you can get yourself a +2 necro skills 10% increased blocking Safety Amulet, you can still have max block and well over 1000 hp even with minimal life charms.

Note: This does hurt you when going Necro vs. other spellcasters though. You may want 2 different pvp necromancer builds. 1 vs. casters, and 1 vs. others.

In my opinion unless you absolutely 100% plan to be going against casters only, getting at least 60% Dex is worth the health difference. It might seem big but you can always make it up in other items + charms. If you struggle against casters with max block, there's a pretty good chance you're not using 125% FCR, have inferior equipment, are playing against a class that is great vs Boner [i.e. fire sorc] or are not quite good enough.
