if anyone claims its not an upgraded ribcracker, i shall cover my ears and claim that i am not listening. Most effective may be a Botd, but BEST includes style points, which the ribcracker has in spades! plus it makes that WONDERFUL Thwakthwakthwakthwak! noise

That has to be hacked. Its impossible.

How is that possible? It would have had to been zoded in .09 but there was no ladder in .09. Unless there was another method beyond the desocket thing.
Poleaxe then Cracker for me. Even though I will always own a cracker before the botd.

actually you could socket with a zod and unsocket for a brief period after 1.1 came out, so someone theoretically could have found and upgraded a cracker and done this. definately not "impossible" but maybe improbable.

for PvM, i used to have a 300% upgraded shael'd ribcracker, and nothing could stand in it's way. style points, and everything else with it!
PvP...best overall is probably the ebotd, but for style, i always enjoyed my 3 socket eth Zod + 2x ed/ias jewel Tomb Reaver

indestructible items cant spawn ethereal anyways.

I had all of those at ones point. The tomb reaver is just the all around, kill all weapon. The Archon Staff and GP are tied. One hits harder, but slower, other has a wider range but faster. The range does come into some affect. It's easier to chase things down with GP.
If you got nothing or something maybe, the last two are fine as well for starting.

It should eventually.. again there are options, it could be a GT and require only 30% ias or as a feral axe the selfrepair wont be necessary etc. Even something like that with ~ 300% ed would be damn sweet dont u think?

i would wote for eth tomb, but rib is always what I love to use.

I'm much liking an upgraded Steeldriver as the ghetto solution for raw damage potential on a werewolf druid. I don't have any ladder characters unfortunately, so I can't upgrade to elite, but that thing should pack a sufficient wallop and has a 40% speed bonus and -50% requirement to keep it usable at lower levels when I upgrade. Now I just need to find one with damage close to 250%. With a good crushing blow weapon as an alternate for the first few swipes at bosses and particularly tough critters, I think it will be sufficient until I start wanting something that will hit harder around level 70 or so.

Rares should have been on the poll, because they beat all others for damage, speed and range etc.

(For cost, IK Maul wins easily)
i voted ebotd giantpole simply cuz i got one, but ribcracker/reaver are very sexy :surprise:

I second that, I voted for the pole because it's the only viable two hander I can afford currently. Plus, it's slain me many 'a smiter.

well botd gp has higher min dmg so probably evens that up
and the +30 stats, lower req make it better imho plus 4fps is 4 fps no matter how much wias u have :thumbsup:
