Baals minions wont spawn

Sorry if this has been covered before, but I couldn't find anything about it.

Recently I've been doing some solo Baal-runs to level up my bone necro. The trouble is that Baal wont make his minions appear even though I've cleared the throne room of monsters.

It happens more often than not. Sometimes they spawn if I clear the two adjacent rooms on the left and right, but sometimes it doesn't matter if I clear the whole level. Never had this happend before with other chars..?

I've heard this before, and also had it happen myself. If I remember correctly, necros where involved in most of the cases (Blame Durf! Eeehhh... Necros!) Do you use any minions/summons or not?

I use a clay golem, and bone wall (guess that's considered minion too). I'll do some tests with and without them, see if it makes a difference. In most cases (like 90%) just leaving and entering the room doesnt work, I have to and kill some monsters and not even that works all the time.

I've experienced this one time in a public game also. One guy just typed "bug" and everyone left. So I guess its not entirely unheard of.

Is your merc or yourself using AI curses (confuse, attract) or items that has a chance to cast them? Such as Delirium?

If that trigger I have heard that Baals AI will be confused.

No the only curse I really use is decrep, amp on occasion and no gear with CTC anything.

Don't know if it matters but heres the gear I'm using:

Harlequin Crest
Vipermagi
White wand
Homonculus
Arachnid mesh
Marrowalks
TO gloves
2x rare rings (fcr +res)
rare amu (+2 necro skill,resists)

merc's wearing guillameus face, gris armor and bonehew

ya bone wall causes that glitch.. one way to get rid of it is to first get rid of ur bone wall and tp to town and wait a min. and go back in.

sometimes that works other time it doesnt

note: everyone in the game has to go back to town from the throne room in order for it to work i think.

OK thanks guys, Ill just lay off BW then. Its not a big deal but just a little annoying not knowing what causes it.
